Ok now I have dodgeball throwing working, Im hoping to add hitting someone and they would be out. What should I do? Im thinking they could be taken out and can just watch without the ability to do anything, is there any spectator demo I can learn from to do this?
Well, I think they should be taken out, but if someone on their team gets a member of the other team out, they should be able to come back into the game. Just like a real game of dodgeball.

They only come back in if a player on your side catches the ball.

So maybe when a player catches the ball the first person out goes back in?

As for being out, they should simply just watch until back in the game.

I know that, but I wasn't sure if he had even adding ball catching. =p

Mayeb a "get a player back" powerup like the special dodgeballs.

make it like classic dodgeball!
People who get hit are restricted to a "jail" area just outside the opponent's field. Here they can catch balls and throw them at the opponents; if they hit an opponent the opponent goes to his/her corresponding jail area and the person goes back in.

Thats a sweet idea!
If the catch fails, then its a hit(otherwise the ball didn't hit the player)

For the jail thing, have a turf or area defined so that when called Entered() it checks the type and its a ball it allows it to pass, else No pass 4 u.

Thats just an idea that came to mind for the jail, theres plenty of other ways (more of less eaiser/efficient) to do it, I'm sure.

What if they get hit in "jail"? Would I have to just stop the ball where they are at?

If they get hit in Jail, they can either Catch, if they catch they could pass it to one of the people on thier team, or if the catch fails, it could just bounce back into the court.
