The polling varies and it has unfortunately gotten much closer in recent weeks. The last one I saw was something like 49-43 (+/- 3.6%), though apparently after doing a quick google a new poll shows Cuomo over Paladino by 37 points.
Still, you never know what the actual turnout is and I'd be kicking myself every day if I voted for the Rent Is Too Damn High party and Paladino got one over on Cuomo. In case you don't know, Carl is "mad as hell" and some new yorkers are mad, too!

I've heard he's had some problems in that area, yes, but I'd vote for a trained monkey before I'd put another Cuomo in the Governor's mansion. The dysfunctional state legislature bears a lot of the blame for what's wrong with New York, but Mario Cuomo really did tremendous damage during his time in office. I don't care if Paladino is bad with PR or a loose cannon; Cuomo is a known quantity and as insider as it gets. Better the devil I don't know.
