RIP

"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose," Mr. Jobs said in a commencement speech at Stanford University in June 2005, almost a year after he was diagnosed with cancer
It's ironic since he retired like, a month ago.

Heh.. I guess he tried downloading 3rd party software. Zing!
You beat me by 5 minutes. According to a released statement, he died of pancreatic cancer. http://www.apple.com/stevejobs/
SAD, he died the day after his last phone was released.
They should burn all Macs to commemorate his death.
R.I.P to my beloved role model!
I really didn't like the guy, but I acknowledge how instrumental he was in marketing computers to a wider audience.

I know him. He was that guy who made Apple computers.
Oh, that's sad he..... ohhhhhh that chick is hotttttttt
R.I.P
He only stepped back as the CEO a little while ago. I guess he kept going as long as he possibly could.

No, but I can have an opinion based on his history.

He stole the materials/technology/design for his first computer from Atari

He Screwed Wozniak over multiple times an example of was him stealing 90% of their shared payment for porting Breakout back in the day

His factories in china need to have suicide prevention nets installed because working conditions are so poor.

He is (was?) listed on patents and credited with work he did nothing to do with, often times the actual engineers got no credit.

He had a daughter out of wedlock and despite being a billionaire, refused to support her or her mother, causing them to live off welfare.

I'm not saying I'm glad he died, but I don't think he's a saint or anything.

Also apple products are overmarketed and overhyped but that is a conversation for another day.

Steve who?
Steve Jobs, bro. He invented apples. Or computers. Or was it both?

Oh forget it, this is making my brain hurt.

I love apples.
As do I. As a matter of fact, legend has it that the great tree chopped down by Abraham Lincoln bore apples.
Amusingly, today here in Cupertino there's also been a rampant gunman.

10/5/2011 will go down in history as the worst day in Cupertino.
