Well I thought that I had left BYOND for good a couple of months ago when my I lost all my projects during a computer upgrade gone wrong. But lately I've gotten the spirit back to start a project from scratch, so i'm back.( But we all know its really impossible to leave BYOND.)

Anyway i'm not sharing anything on said project yet, but I did want to share something I've been working on off to the side. I've recently discovered the craft of carving expanding foam into armor, and I thought Id give it a try. This is my progress on an IRL Ornstein armor set.



The helmet is almost done, Ive just got to add the diamond shape at the top and finish the mouth/teeth. The cool thing about the helmet is that the visor is actually the open mouth, so it will make me appear much taller if I ever go cosplaying with this set.



I also started on the Cuirass.



This I just started a couple days ago so there is still a lot to do. Although I do think most of the detail will be done during the painting process on the chest piece. Oh and for good measure here is a reference pic for those unfortunate enough to never have played dark souls, or made it far enough to reach this boss.
