Pictures & Gears of War 2

Hello all. Long time no see. Anyhow, I've gone to the midnight release for Gears of War 2 and now I have it. It's a very competitive game, and the 9.5 rating it got, was right. Simply amazing. Now, I'm only on * Act 3-Chapter 4 * but so far the story is funny, action packed, and down right kick ass! Playing the game mode "Horde" is pretty challenging as well. I don;t think I'll be able to make it to wave 50 because even the 10th wave is challenging. Anyways, if some of you BYONDers have GoW2, and you read this. Leave your Gamer Tag on this post and I'll add you as soon as possible for some match making. Also, I have the Call of Duty World At War Beta, as well as Left 4 Dead Demo. Both of those games are epic as well.

With gaming aside, I have some beautiful pictures of my daughter to show off! Lol. I'm so proud of her, she is growing so fast, and learning to get in trouble so quick... just like her father! >:D

New Project - Simple Land

Well for starters, this is a personal project on my spare time. It's all single, non-shaded graphics, but it looks pretty nice. I still have each graphical terrain blend to another. Like how sand blends into the water, or grass to sand, etc... So far I'm just making terrain, and from there, I go on to characters, to NPC's... etc. Anyhow, I just thought I'd let you all know what I'm currently doing. Since It figures, GCW2 won't work out after all, I'd might at well start new. My next blog entry will have screens so you can check out my progress. The plot of the game... well, really there isn't one yet. I'm just designing a world, and then focusing on a plot. I might lean towards a HArvest Moon-like world, but not entirely. I guess you'll just have to wait and see. That is all, peace!

P.S. If you have an interest in this project, or would like to know more, just hit me up. I know I can handle everything on my own, but it'd be nice to have a partner in crime! Let me know, later.

Just curious if any wrestling fans out there that are skilled in programming.. Would you like to be part of the GCW2 team, and assist me in completing this life-long attempted project? I can handle all graphical matters.. I just need help with programming certain features. It would be nice to get a quality wrestling game up, like my first GCW release over 5 years ago. Thanks!

I'm gonna give it ONE last chance. I want to bring it back to life because simulating the wrestling brand is just TOO much fun. Anyone up to supplying some help with the game, would be appreciated. I have a daughter who just turned 6 months today, and it's a load to handle. I'm looking for 1 or 2 individuals to assist me with the creation of the game. The only thing wrong with it is the keyboard is bent a bit, and the computer boots up with a logo, then black screened. Retail was $899.99 at Fry's. I have it on Overstock.com as well. Check it out.

Urban Fighter - Needs staff

My best friend and I are working on a new game. The name of the game for now is, "Urban Fighter", until we come up with something more efficient. It's based off of Urban Reign & Beatdown both for the Xbox & PS2. There will be a total of 12 Fighting styles ranging from (Street Fighting, to Boxing, to Tae Kwon Do, to Capoeira, and more). You would be starting as a Street Fighter, but eventually you can learn a new style and based off of what you have... You can advance that style to another offspring form. The strongest style is Tai-Chi. The first 4 styles to make it into the first release will be:

- Karate
- Boxing
- Wrestling
- Tae Kwon Do

Each of course, will have their own specified animations for their moves. The standard "Punch" will be given to all though.

Obviously the game is based in an Urban environment, so the buildings and overall scenario will be interesting. Although it's based off of games (Just the fighting styles in an urban city theme), it has it's own original elements that my friend Treavor and I thought of. 2 Pixel Artists (Branks/Ogre)
1 Programmer (Branks)

We do NOT need mappers (The pixel artists or programmers can map), if anything we could use another Programmer, Pixel Artist, and maybe a GFX Artist to make some nice Login graphics/Ingame buttons. You would be taking care of the various objectives we would like to complete before a logical release. Anybody generous enough to set up a website/forums for us would be great!
