I didn't like the last Final Fantasy Online. The only thing I did enjoy about it was they somehow managed to capture the classic aspect of combat in their MMO.

The game was insanely hard to solo any aspect of it, even at lower levels. At level 12 I just stopped playing, I was a Warrior, couldn't get into any groups and wasn't powerful enough to solo on my own.

The jobs were horrible. I remember having to buy 200 pick axes just so I could go into a mining area once and even then, the axes broke almost every single time I used it. What the hell?

The class system was what I expected from the Final Fantasy franchise, but the races were fucking awful, I had no interest in any of the races, where the hell are the classic Final Fantasy races? Because, you know, being able to play as a Esper or a Moogle would be just too bad ass or something.

The first one was a epic fail, I won't be putting money into the next one any time soon.
