As a few of you know, I've been working on a few tiny projects. It's so simple to come up with the ideas, and then get to pixeling. One of the projects you might already know about is: Trap Em!. Which is a zombie survival horror game, with a trap using combat system. Recently, I've began to start a "(Insert Word Here) Em!" series. Which means every small game that follows along the same path as these, will be titled as such.

Moving on.. I began to create a game called: Jail Em!. Which is a game about Officers & Criminals. The game is a simple idea, really. If you choose to be an Officer, you'll be able to use: Taser, Baton, & Handcuffs in order to disable and jail the criminals. The Criminal gameplay is different. They need to use anything in their surroundings in order to break out of jail, and escape the Jailhouse to win freedom. It sounds unbalanced... But believe me, it will be fair for all players.

Going further.. To those who were expecting Trap Em! to be released Friday.. I'm just waiting on VcentG to get motivated to finish the remaining features. Otherwise, you'll be waiting for a while before you can play it. I'm also trying my best to get back into programming so I don't need to depend on anyone for anything. We'll see how that goes. So other than that... I have nothing else to report. Peace out.
Can't wait to play Trap em! :)
Trap Em looks pretty bland but a fun concept. I think if you desaturated the graphics a bit, increased tile size, and added a variety of fire/destroyed terrain graphics, it would look amazing.

I do love the concepts tho.
Rofl JAIL EM! epic
Cant wait They both sound good
I tried to make a basic example of what I mean about desaturating the graphics.

Less saturation helps with more of a horror feel, that's one reason Resident Evil was so successful. I love the idea of a zombie survival game, and if you could find a way to incorporate an element of fear (sound + color combos) into a BYONd game, you'd be legend.

If i may ask, how many games will be in this mini series?

Also, ive added you on MSN, someone directed me twords you. Ive posted it on the Trapem Comments, but i dont know if youve checked them.
There will most likely be about 5 games in this series. All different themes of course.
Hmm this is going to be interesting. =3

I agree with this. Lookin' forward to seeing this series being completed.

I could imagine stringing all 5 games into one project when they're all done. Allowing a large lobby, and people deciding which game they'll setup and play. It'd be like an interactive arcade. That'd be so dope... but it'd most likely be slow as shit.... who knows.

Picking the game like how they do in Sunday the 19th or like individual games all going on at once on different maps and such?

Individual games going on all at once on different maps.

Edit: Although it would be cool if it changed the game type per round.

Either way its done, im sure it'll be pulled off amazingly. Even more so for this type of game. To be honest, ive been waiting for a "Cops And Robbers" type game for a while. Aswell as a decent Zombie game. So im all in and excited for both of them.
