Okay. It's annoying me a tad bit that I finally got a game out there, and it's not played. I know the zip file isn't up anymore, but this is do to frustration. What I want to know is what exactly should be changed, or added for people to start becoming interested again. It was supposed to be a very small project, and I know it's easy to upgrade, but I still need some sort of logical feedback in order to do such.

Try to be lenient on your suggestions, and make sure it stays within the realm Lige and I created. The subjects I expect to hear about are: Game Modes, Maps, Skills, & Graphical Upgrades. I would like to hope to get a nice handful of replies on this matter, because I want to start as soon as possible to get it out before the weekend begins. Thanks!
Add. More. Maps.

That is all.
I believe hosting a gathering one day would be the best way to promote the game. The problem with games on this site is that if I see a game hosted with nobody on, I am not willing to join and wait for people to join and possibly play. With a gathering, those participating will know for certain that players will be online.

After the gathering, release the host files. I haven't played your game but if it lacks AI, I suggest adding some.
A single player/small storyline would be neat. I know it's mainly a multiplayer game, but allowing people to do something offline means they might try to figure out what it's like online.
Same as Calus CoRPS.
I suggest the implementation of more cowbell.

But no, I want more things to interact with. The last time I played all I can do as a prisoner was push over boxes and do that one weird thing with water or whatever. Also, I think it'd be fun if the objective was more complex. Right now all we do is have to run to the exit. What about if we started in a cell and we had to use tools to break out? Or what if the jail has some secret passcode to open the doors to escape, but the only way to get that code is to KO and rob a cop for his ID card? It's just some things to add more depth to the game play as opposed to just "run to the exit, and knock over a box here and there".
Give cops the ability to GTS prisoners.

oh yeah and what calus said
Either make a 2 vs 2 mode or make an AI like other people suggested. That way, people can do something while they wait for others to join. I saw 6 people on their 2 weeks ago, we couldn't start the round though cause we needed 8. By the time I tried inviting people, the people who were there earlier started to leave.
All suggestions that were realistic are being reviewed. Thanks to those who actually gave a realistic reply. The other trash was deleted. We'll post progress soon!

The round starts as long as there is at least one criminal and cop. Deciding the Player Limit (8 or 16) just means you're allowing up to 4 on 4 or 8 on 8. There was a bug that may have prevented the round from starting up. If that is the case, I'll be sure to fix it in the update.

I'll most likely make a blog post as to what's currently being added, and upon the feedback received, I may add/change/remove some of the ideas listed.

Alright, cause this game has a lot of potential!
