Death Note had a good thing going but I couldn't tolerate it as the author tried too hard to emphasize how genius his characters are... despite not being a genius himself. The plots and twists just weren't as awesome as he thought they were nor, in retrospect, at all realistic.
Hey Arnold was another one but that show never made me laugh.
