Preparations for a Job Fair

Haven't posted anything on my blog in a while because I'm usually busy with school or life itself. But for those who actually care for what I do, this is what I have been up to the past few days. I've been preparing for this job fair that takes place in my college today.

I forgot how much one has to do to get a decent job in present time(not sure about places outside New York). Many different companies will arrive at my school in a few hours to interview/hire students that are interested in job positions in different areas. I seriously did not realize how much paperwork this event would take; I had to print out multiple resumes, fill out job applications, etc.

Times like this are what make me wish I was back in third grade doing easy homework and watching cartoons with no worries about anything. But hey, that's life and I need to keep moving on and pray I actually get a job that could help me earn a few bucks here and there. Also, when I say companies I don't want to confuse anyone into thinking they are huge industries that make billions and trillions of dollars. They are companies like Best Buy, Cablevision, etc.

Wish me luck, it's time to end this blog post and get ready for school and the job fair. I'll update you guys soon on how things went today; Hopefully I'll get a decent paying job and buy myself a nice birthday present next week(Nov 28 btw ^_^).

Poetry

It has been a while since I've written poetry, so I wrote a poem last night. I posted it on my facebook and so far everyone has liked it, I wanted to post it here to see what you guys think about it. Sometimes I like to mess around in poetry and misspell words on purpose(so no need to correct the spelling lol), feel a bit creative for some reason when I do that.

Anyways here is the poem:

Tanryoku

A random guy who is poetically unstable
Listen to my story
Or better yet, my fable

Soothing voice, so trusting yet confusing
It goes left, it goes right
And your mind it starts polluting

Never again will I fall in the colored water
I could wake up the next day
As an addict or a father

The very definition of unique
Sucking up the world's talent
They started calling him a leech

A lone wolf that races time through the night
Searching for his long frozen heart
A melancholic disaster that wont give up this fight

A sarcastic fool that only appears every blue moon
Like a white petal on a red rose
Untouchable "Tanryoku"
You can call him unique overdose

New BYOND Anime CSS(Tests)

I was reading the chat for a long time that the moderators and game judges were having in that chat room Stephen had set up. One of the things I wanted to help out on was the CSS, right now it isn't anywhere near complete, I am just tired and it's late so I will continue it tomorrow. I made it my blogs layout so you guys can look at it and give your opinions on what I have done so far(not much =/). I always keep my psd files so I can edit anything and everything graphic wise. I know it should say "BYOND Anime" but the moderators/judges were thinking of a new name and this was one of them, so I just put it up there(it can be changed).

Computer Problem

This started happening yesterday morning. All of a sudden my computer starts randomly shutting down(maybe like 5, 30, or 60 minutes after I turn it on) because of "overheating". So far I haven't figured out what is wrong with it. Later tonight I am going to open it up and see if anything is wrong, maybe the fan broke or something, who knows. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong? or maybe some suggestions to what I can do to fix it?

Man I'm so hyped right now, just finished playing an intense round of KZ2 online. Just made this post to see if any byonders play Killzone 2 or PS3 in general(that I don't already have), you can add my PSN, its MikehTanryoku. Trust

Hey fellow BYONDers, I haven't made a post in a long time, sorry for that. I have been very busy with school(I graduate high school on friday, pics will come then XD), also with development of a few games. I make a post today, not for revenge, but because I want to talk about my time here on BYOND and people I have met. BYONDers and I, in my opinion, have always been about trust. Trust comes in many ways and sizes. I found BYOND on Google searching for online Dragonball Z and Naruto games.

During my time here, I have met many people. Many people that some I can call friends, acquaintances, helpers, etc. Then I have met others that either have no life, or they just simply do not have anything better to do and are running down the wrong path. I have found people that I can actually trust with many things. People like Cals187, Xyberman, Chris-g1, Pmitch, etc. Then I have met others who trust cannot exist with. People like DarrylX/Dark Inc/Lil Diamond, Theactivenet/Underworldkid/Rip Nation. Today I woke up, very excited for I am went out and bought Prototype for my Playstation 3. So this morning I check around the BYOND site and I find myself looking at ~~DarrylX's~~ Lil Diamond's blog. I saw this:

Now, this was posted like any other post to show off improvement in skills. But the only problem was, that it wasn't his own improvement in skill. If our base was ripped, I wonder what else of what he posted was ripped.

These are a few different stances of a base made by my partner, Cals187. Some of these stances he required help from Xyberman, KDG, and I am not aware if anyone else assisted him. After I replied to his post with an accusation, he immediately deleted my reply and banned me from his blog. About five minutes later he took the blog off of the BYOND front page to avoid other accusations. Some of you may wonder why I even bothered making this post. Well, I made it so that others may learn from my mistakes and who they can trust and who they cannot.

Updated the Goku icon I posted earlier, this time I made him normal form instead of Super Saiyan, also did some shading fixes. I tried doing Goku's Super Saiyan hair, but for some weird reason, I can't. Here's the updated icon:

Next I am going to make a Vegeta doing Galick Gun. Once it is done, I am going to make a small animation and make them clash =D
