Freetime, reference free. Looking for advice, tips, crit.

Something i was doing when i found myself bored with much free time. I chose to draw a few things that came to mind. Wouldnt mind taking some criticism or instruction of where i should go from the present state. Colors, Shade, anything that could possibly pose useful.


Just a little cartoony hud i started.


I love dbz, and was feeling the emotions so i went ahead and done what came up.

Looks pretty good, but i dont know jack about pixel art so i'll leave it to the pro's to tell you where to go from here.

Amazing how I thought about needing help in showing emotions through eyes, and poof you showed up~

Thanks a lot, I'll try to grasp as much information as possible from your work. Although the amazed face placed right near the angry one doesn't look so good, probably cause you took out the eyebrow details.

P.S. I love angry one the most :)

The neck is too thick; it usually doesn't have the same width as the head. Also try making the back of the head rounder, looks like you made a big jump in there with the pixels going from diagonal to vertical.
