A few days after I started development on my GSD entry, the greatest thing in the world happened: my computer shuts off and refuses to boot back up.

I just finally got my spare computer up and running and I am trying to get a better computer ( probably a Dell Inspiron or something ) once I get some more money.

While I had no computer, I was concocting ideas in my head and decided to make the game less focused on combat. But, since I did want building to be a part of the game, I also don't want the game to be too focused on building because then it would turn out to be just a 2D Minecraft and the last thing I want is a game extremely similar to something that already exists. My current solution is to have "treasures" which are rare items scattered around the world. Your main objective would be not to build the best house, or to kill the most slimes but to explore the world in search of special, one-of-a-kind items. Not only would the items be something to place in your house so everyone could see your prized possessions, they could also be used to give your character certain abilities like flight, shape-shifting or teleportation.

Best part about this is that I think I might make it open source. If you have any interest in the description of the game above, let me know and I'll make a Google Code page for it.
dont get anything dell they suck my dell only has 512 mb of ram and with terrible graphics card...
i heard that dell laptops randomly explode or catch on fire because their so terrible
Cam the game sounds great. I love the idea of everyone collecting unique artifacts.
I have some interest in it being open source. If you throw up a google page, I'll jump on board with adding things to it.
