C++ compiler in Off Topic

anyone know a good free C++ complier. I tried visual C++ from microsoft but I need the service pack 2 for xp and there's some kind of validation error. A good free compiler or help on the validation error would be great

The C++ compiler I use is "Bloodshed Dev-C++".
You can download it from: http://www.bloodshed.net/download.html

I have no complaints about it, though I am not a C++ guru.
