Republican supporters can invent many ways to try to dump on Democrats but, as research such as this clearly demonstrates, national debt is not one of them.
I think the lions share of our national debt is Reaganomics, perpetuated in some variation every time a Republican president since Regan has been placed in power. It calls for cutting taxes, which pay off the national debt. It also seems to almost immediately trigger a recession by reducing the government controls that are only in place to prevent them. With our economy already spiraling towards recession and debt soaring from taxes that needed to be paid, they gave our national debt even more impetus through spending from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I'm probably wasting my breath though. What few Republican supporters there are left that haven't figured this out yet after Bush Jr. ran us into the ground are remarkably stubborn when it comes to political matters. True believers to the grave. It's unfortunate, as this stubbornness undermines the very premise in which a Democracy is supposed to operate, under the idea that people will actually hold their elected officials accountable and minimize corruption through their votes.
Obama's main problem is he seems to be trying to work bipartisan with Republican interests to solve these problems. This should be considered a commendable thing. Unfortunately, it may have somewhat impeded this change he promised. We just received a filibuster proof majority on July 7th, so perhaps we can see some faster progress now.
Bottom line, if you want to complain about Obama, show us a better alternative. The last major Republican administration largely muscled its way in under the pretense of fear, did damage to the economy and our reputation which may well be irreversible. It may not be an exaggeration to say that the next Republican administration has a good chance of finishing us as a country, assuming they haven't already.

No, there's no misinterpretation on my part. Given what you have said, there really is no alternative interpretation. If you were just pointing out you have never heard anyone say the words "Good job Obama," you would not have bothered to mention all of the information with it that you had.

Well, I haven't seen anyone say "Good Job Obama."

So we're not trillions of dollars in debt and practically owned by China and Saudi Arabia?

I don't smoke weed, I'm just pissed he doesn't take the issue seriously when he built his campaign around being the kind of guy who would.

You shouldn't and can't fight an invisible enemy that knows no nationality with a conventional army, but the US is doing it anyway. North Korea and Iran have started no wars in the same period. The Bush bully tactics have created more problems for US security than it's solved.
Yeah, the West has been known for bullying other countries in Asia and Africa for centuries, I think Korea is out to protect themselves but it comes across as evil. US and Britain do have nuclear weapons, but they don't want Korea to have nuclear weapons because they are afraid of a power like that being controlled by them.

I think you need to appreciate that even if these countries had weapons capable of hitting the US (they don't), they wouldn't use them on the US. The US has a policy of total nuclear response to that stuff, they simply wouldn't have a country. The very fact that people in the US seem to think otherwise and vote according to this paranoid scaremongering is doing more to harm the state of world peace than anything.
