With the recent clamp down on DBZ games, it's clear that DBOII has been cancelled. However Zane and I have also decided to cancel BR. It'd be unfortunate to suffer the same situation twice so we'll just cut it short from now.

However i'm not leaving. I'll spend my time building demos, doing custom code jobs and quite possibly an RPG.

Our apologies to any disappointed fans.
Finally going to release the pixel movement/projectiles? lol

Sucks to hear about another great game canceling :(
Prays..::it must be april the first, it must be april the first, please tell me it's april the first!::
That's a shame, you have my deepest sympathies. I can not imagine how disappointed you guys must be to have to drop projects after pouring countless hours of effort into them.

It's great that you're still sticking around, though -- I hope the talented artists that worked with you do so as well -- I'm looking forward to future projects.

If it's any consolation, I'd gladly accept your help with Eternia and any other skilled developer that's had to drop a project due to the copyright issues. I've already offered Paul a paid position.

Whatever you decide to do, best of luck and keep us updated!
Yeah, it does. FUNimation kind of ruined everything...not just FUNimation games. The only thing that I see possibly still working would be Pokemon games and the such.

I am looking forward to seeing the Pixel Movement/Projectiles, though. Good luck on any other endeavors you go through.

The only people who are gonna be making fangames now are the pricks who insist on getting BYOND into Deep shit, which will eventually lead to a mass banning or a complete cock block on all Anime fangames since we have never seen any activity against Non-Anime Fangames, meaning more video game based fangames...

Hoo boy this is gonna get worse.

im going to publish five new dbz games to fight back! anime will rise again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! screw funimation i mean unfunimation lulz
I apologize - but if it's any consolation at all, you have a SICK css. Anyways, Bleach can easily be changed into an RPG. There would be some graphical issues that you'd need to fix, but I can't imagine a reason why it shouldn't be changed to a standard, original RPG.
Very sad to hear. However, I completely understand where you are coming from and probably would've done the same thing. Good luck and looking forward to your demos.

Edit: !! You should make a CSS tutorial :O
This is very sad and dissapointing. I wouldn't blame anyone but Byond itself for this to be honest.
Todays a cold day in byond....
You know, as much as I'm glad to see a lot of the anime games leave byond, I do feel for those who have put real effort into their games and now have to leave them.

Yes, blame Byond for not avoiding a C&D, which would almost certainly involve them being sued to the point where they'd have to shut down the whole site. You are a moron.
Funimation is the New Activision.. So much for putting Fun infront of Animation...
April Fools.

I think he means BYOND is at fault because they didn't do anything about this in the past.
Then the only saddening thing is BYOND let people develop games they wanted to develop, which doesn't make a lot of sense.

Well, technically yes. BYOND saved itself from being completely destroyed, so it is "their" immediate fault for the games being destroyed, if you intend to be so shallow.
Are you going to sell any of your art? I'm sure people would buy the icons. You could put it up on the Resource Center for a hefty price...if you can even make $ doing that, I'm not sure.
Selling Art - I doubt any art will be sold, but it is all up to the artist who's created them.

Our Effort - It's unfortunate the time we've spent on these games but being an optimist I see the bright side, I have some of the best talent on BYOND willing to work with me and a community eager for quality games. It is a set back but i've learnt a lot on this journey so i'll turn it around soon enough.

Khaos - Well i'd be glad to do a few modules if i'm able but no long term commitment just yet :)

Future Plans - Zane and I have agreed to start our own RPG, when we have something solid we'll share. Conceptually it shows promise and i'm sure everyone will enjoy it. We'll probably bring some more artist on board, its a ambitious project really but if it is done well, i'll be very proud of myself.

Everyone - We appreciate all the support and though this has hurt us much more than anyone else we'll get over it.

Note - Thanks for the support throughout development. Whatever I make in the future I hope everyone enjoys it.
hope it involes robots
