The First Rant
Ive decided to do rants about games every so often. My first game will be: Cow RP
Basically the game is where you RP a medieval setting, there a 3 settings to the game. Normal: One Kingdom with a King and several other specialized jobs (http://131.191.78.168:8080/jobs/). Kingdoms: 2 Kingdoms each with its own King and specialized jobs. Peasant: No King or Specialized Jobs. You are a peasant. You MAKE the RP as you see it.
My Rant will be not about the game itself but about a bit of the community. Here goes.
Cow RP has a great number of features but the owner (Bovine) is always looking for new ones. For this reason on the Cow RP forums there is a section called "Suggestions", there are some great ones there but the failing point of the community is that any one suggestion tends to get labeled as "abusable" by the users. The utter stupidity of this is that pretty much everything in any given game is abusable in some way, so the argument "its abusable" should only really be given to suggestions that are high abusable (e.g. Bazooka for the Peasant), thus many more suggestions get though about beyond the "its abusable" stage and could actually make it into the game. Bovine Willing.
