Well about a month ago, I did a observation on which RP game is better. What I found out is that neither are better.

How I figured this out is I tested them by creating a character with the most common/nooby race of them all, Saiyans. Heres the comparasion:

On Pheonix, you basically start in a cave. You can either stay in the cave and become weak due to it having no gravity mods. Or go outside where you actually get skilled from training, but at the same time making some shelter so you wont get killed by saibamen NPCs. Now it sounds like bad deal, but luckily a base system was built at the time. The genders were basically 90% male if that wasnt suprising, so I made a female to stand out. Doing this almost got me QoV, but enough about me.

Anyways, the point im trying to make here is that rping is actually more interactive. For example, on DBG, alien and tuffle races are randomly spawned on any planet. While in Phoenix, they have tuffles spawn on Vegeta. Which actually happened in the anime and by doing this, it creates a war or unity between primitive superbeings vs techlonogy. Once tuffles get enough resources, then they could make a ship and help technology expand across the universe. Bring races to other planets so they could start an interaction between other races.

On DBG, the system is completly vice versa. The shopkeeper system makes it so you're physically bound to the all-powerful shopkeeper. Since theres a hunger and thirst system, you have to constantly come back just to buy food or water from the shopkeeper. This basically makes the players of each planet to stay around wherever the shopkeeper is, making the rest of the planet map useless. While back on the races thing, make alien's spawn on random planets makes it more anti-climactic on racial interaction.

Another problem is the stats system itself. The DBG's stat system makes it that actually have to play Phoenix to know how to train stats. And once you do, you'll realize that you're spending most of your time training than rping. On Phoenix you would brather rp than train, not to mention you would care less about dying. DBG makes you a slave to your own stats, as you tried to avoid death as much as possible. Especially since you basically get no rewards for rping, unless you're applying for ranks, forms(which are impossible to get w/o selling your soul to the game), and rare abilities. Phoenix is basically the same way, but they make the following sound more possible. They even give you a guide to find out how to get the following ranks.

The staff system are also another weakpoint DBG. The head owner is bi-polar. I'm not even insulting, he even shows all the signs. Although he hasn't have an excuse for never being active, and I been playing for about a year yet never seen him do much except host like 2 events. For the other admins they don't have the bi-polar problem and tend to use favoritism at other times. Such as they recently banned some admin named Morbid, I didn't know the guy well, but he basically created a guide which basically cleared all the confusion about certain things. He ended up getting banned because an admin named Rokal "personally hated him". Professionality or not? You decide.

Anyways, back to Phoenix. I only played Phoenix or any other Finale offspring for about a month total and the staff seem to be helpful with almost everything I needed, along with everyone else. Such as a guy that got killed by some robot NPC. Even though he accepted it, the admins didn't hesitate to revive. On DBG, if you died in some BS way like dying from turrets, gravbombs, etc. you would just die and thats it. You can get revived by sucking up to some kai or demon, but you're better off remaking.

The graphics on DBG are much better than the ones on Phoenix. The difference is on DBG, the characters actually have abs, plus great features. The Phoenix icons look all fat, flabby, and uninteresting. Unless you actually customize your icon which they give you alot of choices which is a constantly updated list, you can even make your own icon from the base itself. DBG unfortunally has a limited choice of icons. Plus the annoying angry eyes.

Anyways you're probally thinking im saying that Phoenix is better than DBG, but what brings the game down is the constant wipes and the random pwipes. Remember when I was talking about that female saiyan I rped with? Well I basically spent the time trying to survive when Vegeta turned into a craphole. When I finally got off the planet I find out the next day that my character was deleted. It wasn't they first time that happen once playing, but either way I wasn't too mad since the stress was gone. Remaking is boring, at least for my taste...
Theyre both garbage.

Well, I wouldent say thier both garbage I mean I like Phoenix because it has alot of rp going on useally (on good servers). I like generations to because of all the stuff in it (and thats alot of stuff). Would I say thier both crappy, no I think thier alright games, not the greatest but not bad either. These games are put down because of alot of noobs that pla yon it useally because alot of people on byond like myself actully found byond trying to find a DBZ game. So yes thier are people sometimes running those 2 games, but still thier not horrible games. Its useally depending on the server.
bumping on a year old post as usual i see
