We all apologize for not having much content the past couple of weeks, we've just been all so busy and unable to do anything extra. We will try to make the BYONDcast a more routine weekly thing.

That's pretty much it, leave a comment down below on what you thought of the cast. Maybe give some criticism on what we could do better, because we all know we're very very far from perfect and we would love to improve. If you want to see more, just start following the BYONDcast blog and you'll receive updates faster than usual.

-nay all day, as true BYONDlings say.
Thanks a lot for watching, hope you guys enjoyed and we'll see you all next time with more BYONDcast!

@Bravo1: But was it a 360 no-scope nay, those usually take more time to prepare. ;)
Wow.
The first two comments are the commentators themselves........
Narcissism FTW!! 360 no scope backflip ollie
@MasterMerv: Haha, we comment fast because we both already know the entire content of the cast. ;)
Just finished.

....Was mkay.
Another thing to consider with the pager being so slow is that pages were only a consideration quite a while after the hub was written, so setting it up for the hub to queue pager messages along with all of the other pager updates makes an incredible amount of sense, and would also be the easiest way to implement it. It wasn't really meant to be real-time from what I've heard anyways, though.
just a suggestion maybe shorten down on the podcast or maybe add pictures or something on the screen. Kind of got boring half way through just hearing two people having a conversation. More interaction would be better.
Your voices are very smexiersgegg

NO AKTO NOOOOO! SAD-FREAKIN'-FACE!!

Good video though. Great job.
@Audeuro: It's due to limitations on how many open connections a server can have at once. If the server was keeping all of the client connections open it would quickly reach that limit (at the same time bogging down everything else on the hub).
Lmao, I just remembered we were supposed to do a Plunder Gnome tournament, was that canceled? Or did it happen in secret without anyone telling me, or canceled in secret. Orite, episode, it was fine, nothing that interesting I guess, a lot of talk about your own stuff being not made.
+yea - This needs more AKTO. :D

You don't have to keep the connections open to speed it up, but in doing so you would break the rest of the hub <-> pager design.
If you sped it up it would cause an insane amount of network overhead. I think it was attempted once and it just bogged things down pretty badly.

Which would again make the current design make a lot more sense, as originally stated. :p
Thanks for the mention, even if you did jinx my game.

In all honesty I don't think it'll live up to people's expectations because people are expecting more than what I'm making. It doesn't help that I've gone back and forth about how present RPG elements will be. It'll be a fun platformer though with puzzles, boss fights, and plenty of hidden items to look for. I'll try to get a playable version together soon, hopefully it'll give people a better idea of what to expect.
