How do I publish my multiplayer game without paying for membership?
There are a couple of ways you can go about doing this. The best way of course would be to buy or obtain a membership somehow. It helps out BYOND and it gives you extra perks. But if you can't or don't want to get a membership there are a few other ways you can have your game listed. One way of doing so would be to add a BYOND member to your hubs account as a person who can edit it. This will allow that BYOND member to submit that game for you. Also, if your game is good and it is decently popular a Admin with the ability to change games status would be able to list your game if they see fit. Other wise, there really isn't any other way around the membership.

Ok how would my game get popular if I cannot publish it on the website?

You can advertise it here on these forums, or on some other website.

What he said, but from me. :P You could always make a webpage or a post about the game on the Creations forum. Also, if you wanted to you could get other game owners to advertise your game with there game and vise versa in order to try and achieve a higher player base.

How would people play it though if I have to be a member to put my multiplayer game up?

The game can still be connected to, via the BYOND URL that DreamSeeker / DreamDaemon tells you.
