Slight problem with the new layout toolbar thingy in Opera, this screenshot will explain what is happening best.

When I click to view it in IE, there's a black dot to the left of the BYOND symbol that brings you to members.byond.com | |
It's also on my parents crappy Verizon Web Browser

Yeah, I think the black dot is from an unordered list. Also, in IE the logout button on the main page is stopped by the left border of the div so if your name is too long, say 14 letters, the screen has to scroll. I'm sure the staff is working on these problems though.

yeah byond tends to like to screw up things that are working well why in the world do you edit soemthing that seems to be going great like separating the hub and pager from dream seeker oh and lets not forget how they changed the hub i guess there trying to get more pple well then again the homepage of byond looks like its for 5 year olds yay go byond nice screw up guys anyways thats all i have to say about that topic

That's quite a lot of bitching for something that you don't realize is for the better, Tac.
The pager seperated from the dreamseeker solved a major issue I had with running multiple DS windows. Pager messages and such wouldn't know where to go, not it's all sitting in the tray. Here's another thought, now I can receive pages without having to be logged into any games at all. What's this? The guild system not to your liking? What's wrong with it? It's uniting the people that like the same style of games, and showing people the same style of games that they would otherwise not have seen. I'll come back to this after my next point. Headbar a problem? It isn't in Firefix. IE seems to be having problems with it, yet with Firefox, all the problems are 'fixed'. The new headbar is great, I can get to the forums, any official guild, take actions from my guild, and actions for the guild I'm viewing if need be. Which brings me to my last point, the problem that everyone seemed to bitch about before. "I can't see the unpublished section anymore." The headbar fixed that. There's a link to it from here. That's not my last point, just noticed you were going against our new entrance page. What's wrong with the site actually having a cover? The old way threw you directly into the guild section, which back then was the published section. I'm not sure about you, but I normally look at a books cover before I start reading it, and I'm certain that people would like to know what they're getting into before they start. | |
well about the pager have you noticed it stops working o.O uhm yeah when it was with dreamseeker it worked fine but now thats it separated it doesnt work as good as it used to so uhm new stuff bad old good!!! yay!!! ok for the guild thing uhm yeah i lvoe to see naruto rips and dbz rips >_> and the firefox thing not everyone uses firefox i prefer IE also fire fox always crashes on me or it wont install shit properly <_< yet again im running on vista everything seems to be broken well about the title thing it looks like its for little kids so how in the world would that attract pple personally id like to see whats really in byond not a snowman o.O like show tanks proelium seika naruto dbz that would spark mroe attention and maybe bleach not kiddy stuff if they need a new front cover id be mroe than happy to do it for them and if there are any typos sorry i typed this pretty fast anyways thats about it sorry i wasnt trying to start a fight this is jsut how it works for most pple

well there arent many active none anime games >.< id like to see a new rpg come out sometime soon *silk get a move on it lol*or even a decent pvp game like proelium which seemed to die which forces me to start hosting tanks

The pager was separated to make way for BYOND 4.0. The interface changes couldn't exist with the pager still attached. The head bar helps navigation. It'll eventually be placed on all of the BYOND pages, with exception to the cover pages. This makes it very easy to navigate the website. You cut out the navigating else ware middle man. You don't have a clue what you're talking about, your sentences are next to incoherent and to top it off, you think your actually right. You're an idiot. There is no questioning that fact. | |
A good proportion of servers are hosted on and through Linux boxes. If there was a way to stop you from accessing all of them, you'd realize that you love Linux a lot more.
As for active RPGs, there are plenty, you're just not looking in the right places. | |

They're called improvements. Why don't you go find yourself an old version of BYOND, and you can build, compile, and run all your games in the old, outdated, security flawed client, and get your friends to download, and connect to your game. We'll enjoy our new, improved, secure client, with OpenGL.
