Well before I really get started on this game, I am looking for a storyline. I have a few ideas swirling around in my head, but nothing concrete. So Im reaching out to the community to get an idea of what you would like to see. I have a basic idea of how the game will run, so no matter how the storyline goes, the game will be to my liking at least.

To start off, for those who don't know, Crystal Adventure is my latest porject; a single-player RPG. The game itself will be mythically based and set in the Medieval Times, so there will be nothing along the lines of alien warships. The fundimental idea of the game is to travel all around the world, gaining experience, items and ally's. I have came to the conclusion that I want the storyline to end at some point, this way I can bring out new versions of the game at later dates. But im straying from the subject here a little.

Now I know the generic expectatios for a game such as this, is to train, get stronger and deafeat some ultimate villain who has plunged the world into chaos. From doing so, you restore the world back to it's former glory (pretty flowers, fairies and whatnot..).

If you have any good ideas for a plot then please do share them. Even if they are not used, it will give people ideas and hopefully it will catch on. If you have an idea, and wish to go over it in more in-depth detail with me, then please contact me at frosty_dj@hotmail.com .

Crystal Adventure will be a single player RPG. So far I have been mainly working on the interface of the game. I already have a rough idea for the storyline behind the game, although I will have to work on it more.

Crystal Adventure will be an all-featured game including some things such as Combat, Magic(perhaps), Quests, Trade Skills and many more things.

I have had some comments and criticisms on the subject, people saying that there are better tools out there to create the type of game I am going for. Well I know that, but I have decided to make it on Byond anyways. I see no reason why there shouldn't be games like this on Byond, just because other programs would give better results.

I will keep my blog updated as CA progresses. In the meantime, I will leave you with a preview of the interface.
Well only a little >_>

I have been looking around Byond, seeing what games there were. Aside from the usual there were a few games that took to my liking. However I only play about 1-2 games on a regular basis. That got me thinking more about starting a new project, specifically an rpg type (What Im best at probably).

So that was quite a while back and I still have nothing, I can't seem to come up with any ideas that are pretty original, havn't been done before and would actually attract some players.

Other than browsing the forums and playing a game or two, I have been keeping up to date with my coding. I have made quite a few little systems just to see if I could, some of them are things that most people would never use like a password generator.

So that's my little rant, I was bored and wanted to post something to fill that huge blank space at the bottom of my page >_>

Any ideas for an rpg? Appreciated.
