You need to learn to *read* to join this guild...
...and probably write in complete sentences.
I recently discovered this little gem in the 'waiting for acceptance into the guild' section of this blog:
"BOSStman-1:
Hey i am not applying but i just want to ask if yall will host my bleach game called Bleach by Bobbyawesome and me his hub"
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Had you bothered to take the time to actually read the recent posts in this guild/blog, or made any minor attempt at research into the services here, you would have answered your own sentence.

You wouldn't be trying to get me to rewrite the exact same response that I already gave you in comment #22, would you? ;)

Oh come now, you don't even have any witty remarks this time. No one is having a heated argument, although you of course as usual feel free to portray a perception that often hits so far from the mark that its not even on the same planet.

Still getting your rocks off trying to taunt people though, I see :) Its funny you bring this up after posts in which me and Zaole agree on several points, some of which digitalmouse have conceded to as well.

I completely agree - Except, the correct conclusion is what every person wants to define it as.

You'd think that anyone above the age of 12 realizes that people form opinions of their own accord; I'm sure digitalmouse does too. Do you? Unlike you, I see no need from him to overstate his own traits in order to try and obviate said conclusions by other people.

Yes, yes I do. Dictionary.com happens to agree with me:
covert or artful suggestion or hinting, as of something implied: His methods of insinuation are most ingenious.
Notice that insinuations don't have to be conveyed secretively to retain their meaning; the context can be sneaky in nature but not hidden. Covert does not mean invisible, or the point would be lost.
> If you feel that saying digi's insults are ridiculous is, in and of itself, a ridiculous insult, then sure, I'm being hypocritical. Calling out both hypocrisy and irony is a bit redundant, though.

Sure. He responded directly to your quote, with the paragraph; to anyone with common sense and the ability to deduct logic, that means its a response to your question. I can phrase the beginning differently if it'll help:
"I'm posting this in public because [snip]"
There you go.
> > Insinuation.
> Yes, of course it's insinuation- that's the whole idea. I'm insinuating that he gets joy out of bashing others, with my evidence being his public bashing of others. No news here.
That isn't evidence enough in and of itself. You lack the basic proper elements to form an argument in your favor here; you have nothing linking joy to it being public.
> > Repeatedly rebutted by the OP,

It sort of ceases to be hidden when you bring it up - Which he then addresses. Unless you're trying to say that he doesn't know he gets his jollies off of doing it. In which case we're back to you trying to play closet psychiatrist and failing horribly because you have no sound argument except a lack of evidence to the contrary.
> > so why does it keep being brought up? He's not smiling about flogging some kid in public, because thats an issue of perception.

Which is fine, but you're partially passing it off as fact - Which is fallacy.

That was the entire point :)
> > Are we talking about the same post?

Are we talking about Chatters? Because in that case, I don't see how its relevant here. You're mudding the waters a bit I think, because you're accusing him of something he can't defend by attacking his personality with evidence gathered on your lonesome that you have neither shared nor cared to bring up except as a stereotype on digitalmouse as a whole. Either stick to this or bring up relevant cases. And if those cases are Chatters, I'd probably not bring them up - Because 95% of Chatters acts like idiots in there.

Your post didn't come across as such, until now. Thanks for clarifying. I'm not trying to attack you, merely also trying to clarify an opposite point to the one I felt you were bringing up.
Knowing digitalmouse personally and having known him for years, I can testify to the fact that he's a man of principle when it comes to life and what you make of it and yourself. Just like the stupid get whacked with reality occasionally IRL (myself included), so does the same happen online. I agree that the form in question wasn't appropriate (digitalBYOND blog, 'fail' comment that has now already been removed) and so does digitalmouse - But I think there has been a fair deal of overexaggeration as to the nature of the post, the intent of the post and the result of the post.
If someone is intent on seeing a bird instead of a rock, their mind will eventually show them a bird. Thats a horrible example, but I hope I get the point across.

Chatters, which is about the only place where I 'let my hair down' so-to-speak in BYOND, is not the world nor is it where I chat the most. If that is the only place you can think of where I've been overly profane, then your experience with me is lacking.

I know what I'll do, I'm going to ignore the other posts that are far worse than this that appear on on websites across the world (including but not limited to the site I'm on) regularly and stick to one solidly, because I enjoy it.
Instead of letting the user blow off steam, which is clearly what they're doing. I'm going to jump on the proverbial bandwagon and tare into this user for their actions. I just hope I realise that if there's ever a time when I want to blow off steam, that I'm going to be called out on my hypocrisy. And when I sheepishly attempt to defend my actions as people in my place often do, I'm going to make myself look like worse than the initial person I ripped into.

It's pretty straightforward, and this makes it at least the third time I've said it so I'll try to use small words for you: people who are obviously lazy and/or do not take even the minimum amount of time required to actually *look* at a website, then make a post oblivious to information right in front of their friggin' nose (as the previous blog post was), should not be ignored. The internet is, in general, so easy to use that BOSStman should have no problem in finding out very quickly that the service was down and not taking any new accounts.
And, even if he *did* read it, why would he make the post through the wrong channel to begin with - the guild membership requests - when the contact email is clearly visible down the right column?
...why were you so snarky and mean towards the person and include his personal message?
I was snarky in using 'You fail' because, as you should know from flailing about dictionary references, I was annoyed at the poster (snarky: Snide and sarcastic; usually out of irritation). Your use of the word confirms that I was not happy, gleeful, joyous, or any other positive adjective when making the blog post.
I was mean because it sometimes (not all the time) is necessary to let such people know that this kind of behavior is not acceptable. RTFB or RTFM goes a long way to preventing most stupidity.

oy! i cycle across Germany for a few days and come back here to find all sorts of silly bickering amongst yourself in a post that, at best, reveals the lack of effort on the part of the subject of that post.
you could have at least stayed on topic, instead of filling up the thread with this babbling.
Silkwizard: I receive stupid emails from people constantly, both in relation to my BYOND endeavors and my YouTube videos. I either give these types of people a simple one-sentence reply, or I ignore them.
same here. if you note, the core of my long answer was one sentence. I don't count the 'you fail' part, as it is pure opinion.
Silkwizard: If your goal was to correct or help the person, you would have sent a private reply.
no, I *would* not. why should general laziness and lack of effort be any less exposed than any other internet failing?
Silkwizard: Instead you ridiculed this individual publicly, because you get some sort of strange pleasure (or self-esteem boost) out of doing so.
first off, i will agree that 'you fail' might be construed as ridicule, yet the statement is accurate: he failed at doing the bare minimum of reading or research.
secondly, i've already said that i take no pleasure out of doing it. you can continue to claim i get some pleasure out of it, but that does not make it so. in fact i am more likely to be disappointed, or even a little bit angry when people blatantly ignore what is in front of their nose, or just refuse to take the time to *read*.
Silkwizard: It's not like this is a new thing for you; you have been making these kinds of blog posts for awhile.
and probably will continue to do so as long as people do stupid things like this. the only thing I should be more careful with is to post these kinds of entries on my personal blog, not the digitalBYOND one. it is my own mistake that i freely admit to, and it was unprofessional to have posted it here. the post has been edited to remove the 'you fail' part. this is why i earlier commented about the ability to move blog posts to other blogs.
Silkwizard: you are merely making a spectacle of you own shortcomings and insecurities.
silly comments like that are so tiring to hear, especially when people make ridiculous attempts to categorize me based on so little knowledge about me.
i am definitely *not* insecure in anything related to this post/thread, or to BYOND, or in my penchant for pointing out the laziness of others.
hell, it's not insecurity, it's more like being anal-retentive about stupid and/or lazy people. and the shortcomings that i do have, have nothing to do with this whole topic.
Kalzar: Honestly, you guys all need to grow up, some of you are older than most of the community. Digi, you're like 50, come on, do you really get joy from making fun of kids almost 1/5 your age?
so instead of reading where i said "no i don't" and accepting for what it is since i have no reason to be 'joyous' about the state of how people use the internet, you choose instead to jump on the little bandwagon of finger-wagging. which is funny considering your own background.
and for the record, i'm 41. certainly not the oldest on BYOND, but possibly the oldest in this thread.
age has little to do with pointing out something wrong in the world.
