So today, ECU(Conference-USA) defeated #17 Virginia Tech. Despite VT being ranked, many people aren't calling the win an "upset". In fact, some people even had ECU winning. This brings the following question to mind: "Should ECU be pushed to a tougher division?" If you look at the schedule, we're playing four out of conference games(including two teams that are nationally ranked*). We've won the past two games against nationally ranked teams(We beat Boise State last year in a bowl game). I just think that we should be moved into the ACC, where we could be more competitive. But, I'll wait until I see how we play NC State to really get upset.

*- I'd take a guess at saying VT is not going to be ranked for much longer...just a guess.

Quick poll on ethics.

Somehow, I got put into an ethics class this semester, and I think it will do me a lot of good in the long run. With so many people on BYOND acting like they're the authoritarian figure for ethics, I was curious as to how much experience people have with ethics. This isn't meant to put people in their place or to offend anyone, I'm just curious.

SO anyways, my school is scheduled for the Indecision tour 2008 with Greg Giraldo. So, me and one of my roommates went to go see him. After drudging through the opening acts(Some local guy, and a Bush impersonator), he comes on stage. He started off with the routine he used in a past show, so I was getting ready to leave and go to a night club. Then, he noticed the sign language translators....that's when I realized that he is the funniest asshole on the planet. after making the translator translate masturbation and pleasing 3 other men at the same time, he bashed on a guy that was deaf in one ear, because he was the only person that would even have needed the translator(and he could hear fine...but with one ear). Then, he went into the crowd, and just humiliated several dozen people, showing no mercy to anyone he talked to. While this seems like he was a complete asshole(and he was), it was so funny. I know it's sick to laugh at an albino and a deaf guy, but damn if it wasn't funny. So, if you're in a college he's going to(or can get to his show), I would suggest you do.

I used to think that being a BYOND Member meant that I rocked. But, when I turned on my Pager today, I realized that it no longer reminded me. Now, this shos up:

"Thanks for being a BYOND Member! Your support helps us survive!"

So, not only do I rock, but My support helps BYOND survive. Isn't that great? :P

I have one of the(if not the) easiest class in our high school(Digital Communications) next semester, so I'll have plenty of time to do crap on the computer. I'm hoping to spend that time learning DM(it'll be about 3 hours a week of free time in this class). I've been trying to commit to learn, but I've never really been able to, so I hope this time it'll be different. Wish me luck?

Another barracuda, this one was smaller, and I got a better pic of it.

I also saw some Goliath Grouper, and a couple Nurse Sharks. But, I didn't have any film when I saw the Grouper, and the pics I took of the Sharks were Exposed, so They failed when I went to get them developed.

And I'm not tan :(. I didn't wear any sun screen, and I couldn't even burn. I'm seriously disappointed in myself over that. For those of you who don't know, read the post below this one. I had a ton of fun, and got to see a lot of cool things down there, like the Statue of Christ of the Abyss, which is a 9 foot tall bronze statue of Jesus holding his arms up to the surface. I have a bunch of pictures(2 rolls) I need to get developed, and I'm hoping that I can get those onto photobucket sometime soon, so I can share them with everyone. Key West was a blast too, one of the shop keepers down there was from Russia, so I got a nice discount for knowing some Russian. I could tell you what all else happened, but I'm trying to keep this post 'G', so that's all you're getting from me.
