I just wanted to point something out that I find kind of funny.

I go to school at East Carolina University(Go Pirates!). Earlier this year(academic), VP candidate Sarah Palin came to visit. However, her rally was closed off to Republicans only. Tomorrow, VP candidate Joe Biden is going to be there. His rally is open to everyone.

Now, I can see why each ticket chose to hold their rallies. But, it certainly doesn't help Palin's image, and does nothing but help Biden's. Anyways, I thought that was kind of interesting as to how each ticket is holding these rallies. I'll leave comments open for input, but if it turns into another debate post, I'll just lock it down.
That's bizarre...

Was the rally limited to just Republican students, or was it some sort of Republican party rally that just happened to be held at the university? Either way it doesn't make that much sense. I can't remember a single speaker that came to Gonzaga (the 4 year university I attended in WA) whose audience was restricted like that.
They're both party run, so only NC Republicans were allowed. I tried getting a ticket, and wasn't allowed(and I'm an independent).

Of course, this rally was last possible moment. I seriously got a flyer tonight at like 9 PM(EST) for it. I don't know the strategy behind that, but whatever, it means I get to get to talk to some hot Dems :).
What the hell happened to your football team? I was actually hoping for a repeat of Boise State v ECU in a BCS game this year.
Heh, Tulane happened. After we beat WVU, the school went nuts. I know that the whole team went out all week.=, and I think that's what killed us(I went to a party the TJ Lee was at). That, and everyone put so much on those two games, nobody really cared* afterward. Also, we got plagued with injuries in the defense, and it really showed when we played Houston. I think that if the team were to actually stay focused, we could have a serious run next year.

*The student body cared, especially with that NC State game.
