A new character system has been added. Now players choose classes and have their stat growths based on that class like normal RPGs, just with the addition of gaining points from quests and leveling up to buy your skills with. This system will be expanded on later.
Quests are getting a new facelift to give a wider range of prizes and to be easier to implement new quests later. Quests can give anything from exp to gold to new items along with points to spend on skills.
Battle has gotten a new look. Now instead of the side by side format used in Final Fantasy games, the system is now a front view more used in games like Dragon Quest (Warrior) and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. This includes many new monster images.
Game is being planned for new areas now. The goal is put out a version that will take players up to over level 50 to complete. Exp and gold gains have been reduced to slow down the pace a little as the game as found to be too quick. Quest rewards will help balance the lower gains making players have to do more then just grind in an area to get ready for their next quest.
