So despite release day being tomorrow, I have my copy of Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3 already! It is a graphically stunning game, and I'll post a more in-depth and interesting 'review/summary' when I've finished it! ^_^

So yeah, my power supply wasn't good enough to power my graphics card... so I still haven't got to use it yet! Oh well.

I also managed to do in my face on the weekend, in a wall of death at a concert. I looked pretty messed up before, but it's clearing up now:
So my graphics card came this morning... at 9.45am... and I was late to work for waiting for it. But its sitting at home waiting for me, so tonight I'll be having my first play with it! Woot!

So I bought one of these babies this morning, and it should arrive on Monday! I'm pretty psyched to be honest; it should be an awesome card. Not sure what to do with my old HD 4850. Might build a new rig with it in, as a spare computer for LANing, not sure yet though. Will post up some benchmarks, results and opinions on Monday!

Well I'm having a couple of concerns at the moment, ranging from the mundane to the almost-life-threatening, so last night I decided to drink a little more than normal. 'Twas fun, but peculiar.

I got home at 5am, stayed up watching (for the first time in about 8 years) Pokemon for about an hour or two, and am already up? At 9am! Crazy.

Also, to alcohol's credit, some of us thought it would be REALLY funny to try and get into the university without 'breaking' in (although still technically breaking in) and rearrange some of the rooms... next thing I know I'm falling off the balcony of the second floor, thinking to myself 'This really might hurt in a second...' and then the next thing I remember I'm in a club dancing away like nothing ever happened, but with a pulsing a head, a hand that won't really close properly, and a limp in each leg. =P

My hand is still completely messed up, but with no visible signs of damage, and I still can't walk normally yet, but still I haven't felt any pain from the fall! Brilliant!

Anyway, I just thought it was crazy I could fall two and a half storeys (because naturally the ground I fell on was a small flight of stairs down from actual ground floor) without any pain or memory of hitting the floor.

Why do people recommend solar energy for anyone but energy providers? The average solar panel system, for electricity, costs £15,000, and saves £100-£150 a year. They last approximately 25 years. If you get the best out of them, that's 25 * £150 = £3750 of saving. A loss of £11,250!

For heating it costs approximately £2500-£3000 to install, and saves £35-£50. At best, that's £50 * 25 = £1250 of savings. A loss of (AT BEST!) £1,250!

Combined, you're spending £17,500 just to make back £5,000, and that's if you keep them maintained and working for the whole 25 years max-life expectancy.

WHY? I would really appreciate any and all comments!

That's a Q6600 overclocked to 3.37GHz on a GA-EP45T-UD3P with an Artic Freezer Pro 7. This beauty can run Crysis on High at 40-50FPS with only 2GB of ram!

I was looking over my 'Movement' file for Pirates! earlier, and realised it was hugely redundant. In about two minutes I managed to cut down 250 lines to 40. How embarrassing! Plus I managed to balance some things in there, to make it fairer! Woot!
