That is the code I am currently using, adapted from the Unknown Person's tutorial. At the moment I can click either of the buttons, and they &quot;click in&quot; (graphically) but nothing else happens.&lt;br&gt;

            <title>Struggling with world saving.</title>

            <description>So in my current project there will only be three players (two of my friends and I), and when any one of us is logged into the server they need to be able to see where the other two are. Because of this, I thought it easiest just to save everything in a World save-file rather than seperate player save-files.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
So far it's going okay, but I've always struggled with save-files. Firstly, I've got the small problem that before the first time we log in our mobs won't already exist. Also, with the code I have developed, it seems that when I run the game I am automatically attached to my mob, skipping the log in sequence. I guess that's because the world saves my mob's client/key. Anyway, here's the code I have so far. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated!&lt;br&gt;

I'm curious because my membership runs out this month, and I'm really short on money (yes, entirely my fault) and won't be good until next month.             <description>So two of my friends and I are starting a campaign of sorts, and I'm building a BYOND game to help us keep track of stuff.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The basic premise is a bit like risk. We start with a territory each, with an archipelago of territories between us. There are three phases to a turn, and at the end of the turn we each get a load of troops based on how many territories we hold.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My design question is this; how can I make it so that we all start in the first phase, and are limited to first-phase &quot;activities&quot;, and only when we are all finished with the first-phase are we all moved to the second, and then the third?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I was thinking of leaving the game running each evening, so that any of us can log on and do anything that we want to do for that phase, and that the game will only move on when we have all completed what we want to do in that phase.&lt;br&gt;</description>

If no-one is logged into a key it starts the world and asks the first question (what is your name), but any answer causes a crash. It crashes so fast I can't read the error, but I think it says &quot;bad client&quot;.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The obvious answer is just to log in beforehand, but is there anyway I can avoid that?&lt;br&gt;

            <description>I've always been really weak on save-files, and a several-year absence from BYOND hasn't helped!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I want it so that whenever I close the program running the world that several vars are saved to a file, and the moment I run it again they're loaded back in. It sounds simple but I'm not sure where to start!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
