So I thought if I'm to start taking stuff seriously I should get a serious machine to help me! Check out my new set up!
That's a Q6600 overclocked to 3.37GHz on a GA-EP45T-UD3P with an Artic Freezer Pro 7. This beauty can run Crysis on High at 40-50FPS with only 2GB of ram!
My specs : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz 2.40 GHz
Memory(Ram): 4GB Although Vista shows only 3197.
I'm running on a 32 bit operating system, graphics card is 2GB.
Good enough for me :P
Nice looking PC you have there
Thanks! Its a little bit noisy at the moment, because the perslex window acts as an amplifier to the side fan, but I'm getting little rubber things this week that should stop that.
My graphics card only has 512MB of memory, but its an HD4850, so its quite a sprite little guy.
Taking stuff seriously?
What stuff? Games?
You can still program on a Pentium III!
People think they need Quads to browse the internet and check their email...
Specs:
E7200 @ 3.7 Ghz
9600 GT
2 GB Ram
32 Windows XP / Kubuntu KDE 4.2
I'm not big on flashy cases myself (mainly because my PC is normally on the floor to the left of me so I wouldn't be able to see in through windows). My current case is similar to yours, minus the window and with a little temperature display thing on the front. It's getting a bit packed in there though (the case is only just big enough to house the motherboard, plus I have 3 hard drives, 2 optical drives and 2 graphics cards in there, and I'm soon adding a sound card and possibly another hard drive although I may just swap out a small one for a larger one) so I may look into a new case at some point.
[Edit]
Specs:
AMD Phenom 9950+ BE
2x 9600GT (SLI'd)
2GB CL4 RAM
830GB HDD space
32 bit WinXP.
Specs (or at least what I can remember.):
Intel Dual Core (centrino?)
Mobile Intel 965 Express something or other (I don't play many games on my computer, and when I do, I don't need to use high settings)
2GB of RAM
250 GB HDD
32 bit Vista
I will be getting a job with a (relatively) large video games company within this year, and they have warned me that some of the software they require me to use can take days to run a normal simulation on a single core machine.

Nice, 9600GT SLI. That's a good setup! I might/should be getting another HD4850 this summer (my 21st birtday present from the missus!) which should be nice cross-fired with my existing 4850. I bet you get some good frame rates with two 9600GT! I don't like nVidia products just because of there irrational naming system =P
Oh, and it has a window because this is my first ever PC, and I'm very proud of it, and re-he-heally wanna show it off to my two friends that can't stop rubbing their PS3s in my face...
