Look I know, I'm really sorry I haven't posted. I managed to lose my job, get flu, get better from flu, then get tonsillitis. I owe about a billion people messages but I don't really have any excuse other than, y'know, illness and laziness.

I'm so sorry!

Now for the bigger news: I turn 20 today!
Depressing, eh? Quarter of my life, wasted. I'm having a quarter life crisis. :P

(Also, does 20 make me too old for BYOND now?)

I'm in spain right now. My brother told me that "suntan lotion is for pussies", so now I have a very red nose.

Will be back on saturday, so I'll fill you in regarding robin ince and staying round sue's!

It's going to be fantastic.

On saturday, I'm going to cardiff to hang out with MY GIRLFRIEND (actually her name is Sue so yeah), and then we're going back to her house. I'm going to meet her parents for the first time- slightly nerve wracking, but I realise that I'm *always* going to make a fool of myself so there's no point in worrying.

Then her friends are coming round (her friend Jade and her boyfriend) and we're going out to drink alcohol or something.
This is perhaps the scariest part of the night for me since I don't ever drink (although last weekend I drank some cider when I went to a gig with a guy whose middle name is 'Danger'- literally. He showed me his passport. He's also my potential step-brother if his mum and my dad (who are going out) got married.), but I'll have to at least drink SOMETHING to fit in (not spinelessness- it's really weird if everyone around you is drunk but you're totally sober. You feel like some kind of bizarre voyeur.).

Anyway after we get too tired or cold or wet or muddy or lose too much blood, we'll be going back to sue's house and I'll be spending the night there.

The next day we'll either just hang out there (cool fact: she lives in an area of the city with a business park nearby, with road names including Fortran road, COBOL road and Pascal close!) or go back to bristol (my hometown) and stay there.

I wouldn't mind staying at hers or at least in the general area, but going back to bristol worries me- I'm pretty much bristol ignorant, even though I live there (I actually don't, I live nearby in portishead: clicky), so I hope it won't be too disappointing. There's a place called college green that drug addicts and teenagers like to go to hang out, so maybe we'll go there. Or I'll take her up cabot tower. I dunno...

Anyway so that's my weekend. Robin Ince and Sue. Won't tell you which one I'd rather sleep with. ;)

Went to a cheapo (actually not cheapo. my wallet feels way too light. wish the pound was still worth something nowadays) italian restaurant. Managed to keep her laughing all the way through to distract from the stupid red mark I had on my upper lip from a coldsore (healed by then!) that had popped up during the week.

After that we spent the rest of the day just talking. 'Talking'. No, but seriously. :P

Not sure what we're doing next. Saturday is apparently dangerous in cardiff (or is cardiff dangerous on saturday?) due to drunk welshmen. And sunday is mother's day, so I probably have to spend the time with my mum instead of with a hot girl (THAT SUCKS!!!!). ...Any ideas? Should we still meet up that weekend? And do what?
