Got a few questions I wanted to ask. I don't like asking questions on the forum because the layout is retarded. SO!

1. Does anyone know what's going to happen with skins when the flash client is up? I been hearing things like skins are going to be removed and it's just going to be map-based interface.

2. How far can BYOND's engine go into the MMO side? Like say if I wanted to make a MMO like UMMMM...............Maplestory(was trying to think of a 2D mmo and was just holding my "." button down lol) would I be able to? It's not a question of if I can program it. I'm asking would Dream Maker allow me to basically recreate runescape in DM if I knew how. JUST LIKE maplestory, only coded in DM.

3. ~~When the hell am I getting my WWE Ice Cream bars?~~ Has anyone seen a good isometric game? I'm just curious on this one because I've seen multiple iso games in the works but none of them ever made it to release.

This is one of the few topics where I'm trying to actually keep on topic so I withhold the right to delete post I deem offtopic. Unless do it in a hilarious fashion of course.

As I repeatedly say, I have no motivation to program in DM until ExPixel's IDE comes out but man, I don't know how to make him go faster I MEAN I'VE ALREADY STEPPED ON A PUPPY! Pixel Puppy Hater.

Anyway, my Japanese language studies have taken a turn for the worse. Let it be known that I hate kanji with a passion.

Hiragana? Time consuming but no problem.

Katakana? Pronounced the same way as hiragana but different characters.

Kanji? FFFFFFFFFFF-her

So until I let my anger at kanji subside I want to pick up another programming language.

I know DM, HTML, enough CSS to make a decent style sheet. Something website development oriented. Not really looking into something game design like Flash.

Trading Dota 2 Beta Keys

Not sure if this is allowed and frankly, I honestly don't care. I have these two DotA 2 beta keys lying around on STEAM and I thought I'd see if I could get something for them. I already know who I'm going to give them. People are selling Beta keys on DotA 2 forums for like 30-40 bucks. Pretty outrageous o_o. I don't really have anything I want per say. Make an offer and I'll consider it

I was going to post this on the gaming section in the forums but I haven't made a blog post in a while so I said why not.

I was wondering has anyone here played the DotA 2 beta yet. For those of you who don't know DotA started off as a warcraft mod and expanded into a full blown game. While anyone who knows me knows I have immense disdain for DotA. DotA 2 looks pretty amazing. I managed to get my hands on 3-4 beta keys and wondering is it worth downloading or should I just sell them or something lol.

Anyone know a good MMORPG? Has to be F2P so that automatically knocks out Skyrim. It cannot be point N click. I have a vendetta against point and click games. Something that looks like WoW, Vindictus, Dragonnest.

Taking Graphic Request

I am taking request to design any Graphic related thing you need. I need to get together a portfolio and I had to format my computer so I had none of my recent work(God damn photobucket failing on me >_>)

Now when I say Graphic(or GFX I honestly don't give a damn what you wanna call it) I don't mean some anime signature or some garbo like that.

Something I can actually present to someone if they say "OH HAI can I see a portfolio of your work?" And I will not apply for a job with a portfolio filled with Naruto signatures and Bleach legend of the shikigami vizard kyuubi beast login screens(real game if you guys didn't know)

Also, I'm requesting this topic be hidden. I stand by my point that graphic post should be hidden unless game dev related, which this is not.

Edit: Speaking of, expect a game dev post from me later this week or so.

Dream Daemon Auto launch

I kept realizing how good post that actually effect the community such as This keep getting drowned out by stupid post such as "New CSS" and other garbage no one cares about. Which made me think about googles new +1 system. That lets you +1 a search result so it would appear on a higher on the search results list.

So I was thinking how a system like this would work on Byond. It could even use the current yea/nay system. The top 2-3 post with the most Yea. Would appear at the topic highlighted as "Popular". To prevent 1 topic from being up there for about a month you could have it refresh every 24 hours.
