Violence These Days

It's been a while since I've ranted about something, but I feel this needs my attention in a big way.

First off, these kids who's violent tendencies are put off on video games and music. Violent video games? Yeah, a kid's gonna go out on the street and hijack 86 cars, jump over buildings in them, and then shoot everyone. Those kids these days, just killin' everything to solve their problems. Well, if you don't want your kids growing up to be violent, don't display violence. Kids learn alot from their parents- more than any video game will teach them. Another thing is schools. Schools put children in a position where they feel the need to meet a certain standard, or else. This is way too much stress on a child who isn't cut out for things like that, and yes, it's possible for them to snap. Video games are actually a healthy way for children to work out their stress in a controlled environment where they'll suffer no great consequences. If they kill someone in a game, well, it's a game. They haven't really commited a crime. I could talk more about this, but there's other things I need to set straight with the stupid populus.

Another thing is music, I mean, how can someone go out and commit a crime because of music? I mean, yeah, music is pretty great, but if someone is that dedicated to it that they feel the need to act it out, they've got some sort of mental disorder and it would have happened eventually, even without the music. If your child happens to be fucked up in the head, don't look for anything besides yourself to blame. Maybe you've got bad DNA? There was a problem during pregnancy? Maybe YOU'RE just doing a fail job as a parent by letting music raise your child instead of yourself. The music arguement ties in alot with the school/video game one.

If these so-called scholars would think about things besides their misguidedness, they'd probably have a better idea. I mean, I just got done playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, and I didn't run outside and steal my dad's car, drive into my neighbor's house, and shoot everyone.

City of Heroes and some other junk

I recently got City of Heroes running on my dial-up, and I play under the global name-thing of @Shira-kun. Shiraku was already taken, ironically.

Also, I'll be getting cable on the 22nd. Finafuckinglly.

UPDATE: They "lost my paperwork", so I'll now be getting cable on January 6th.

This is a forum I made recently dedicated to alot of things. Games, music, roleplay, and stuff like that.

Only, this forum is run by pre-existing staff from some of the different BYOND games that I play, and sections dedicated to the games that the staff members have come from (Not that I'm limitting it to the ones I play, as you can request other games to be added, and the staff from those games will also be added as forum staff should they choose to be).

This forum is meant to not only provide entertaining discussion for everyone, it's also meant to share ideas, grow closer relations between games, and give staff members the ability to learn about how other games are run, among other things that this forum is meant to provide.

Feel free to join this forum if you want. It's currently in a state of infancy, and I need alot of suggestions to make the forum better for everyone.

My opinion on some stuff

1. The BYOND Ranks
Stupid people like whoever the fuck is buying their rank should be shot on sight. I mean, come on. It's BYOND. Practically the retarded third cousin of Flash. Why would you spend your time and money paying people to rank some shitty game #1? It's for pride, and alot of these retards want to show off how big their e-penis is to all the adoring people who couldn't really give a damn. If the game is as bad (not naming names) as everyone says, why would you -want- people to know about it? It's like going out in the street, stripping down, and shouting "I HAVE GENITAL HERPES". If I cared enough to make a list of all the retarded games who try to buy off people to get a good rank, the list would include Icon Chatterz, Poke'mon Frostbite, and NBOTLS. I haven't exactly looked at the new shitty rips yet to make a valid review of them, but seeing as how all of these games are generically themed 2/3 rips, they can't be too "new and exciting". What we're seeing here now is just a gangs in the form of BYOND games. Everyone can have their pick of the shitty game with the shitty subtitle, but it's still the same game.

2. Anna Nicole Smith
I have the slightest idea who this was supposed to be. She died, though. Wow? Wow is sure right! Someone died! It's on the news!? Wow. I'm sure the blind fanbase of that woman are very displeased. Uncountable numbers of people die every day, but they don't get on the news for it. Seems the only people who matter are the retards, as TV would tell you. But hey, they must be doing something right. They get payed millions of dollars to sit there and look pretty for people, while others have to work their nuts off to scape by.

3. The Console Wars
Honestly, this is pure ignorance in it's purest pure form of pure. It's a game, it's there for your enjoyment. You like Xbox 360? Wowdoo, it has Xbox 360 games on it. You like PS3? HOLY SHIT IT HAS PS3 GAMES ON IT. You like Wii? This is just getting monotonous, but IT HAS WII GAMES!? It's just preference and opinion, you can play the games you like and let others play the games they like. Don't like it? Don't buy a fucking game console.

1) Graal.
You can play for free, but you basically get bitched at in leetspeak/noobish language about being a trial... After all, trial players can't do anything that makes Graal seem like an actual playable game... And.. It costs $20.00! $20 for a game that uses technology that was getting old back in 1998.. I could buy a gameboy advance game from WAL MART and probably get more out of it. Besides, the entire game is a shitty Zelda rip.. What's different? Leveling (Similar to other crappy games related to Graal.) Magic (PRetty much useless against the enemies in the game.) Different CLOTHES!! (Think about it.. Not only can you suck high fuck, but you can look pretty neat doing it too!).. That's pretty much it. It's a Zelda rip with a few new stuff thrown in.

2) Myspace.
I mean come on.. It's Myspace.. Probably designed around the ideals of molestation and personal invasions... And it's MYSPACE... Myspace, people.. Damn...

3) Dragonball Z/Naruto games in BYOND.
There's up to being over a half thousand already, aren't there? I mean.. There's a different rip to suit all your different needs and moods.. FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE... The games are usually coded badly, thus bringing about people like this: "i ned icons 4 my game" or "can any1 icon 4 me" and my favorite.. "can any1 icon/map 4 me!!!11 i giv u gm in my gam!!1" Please make it stop.

4)Gaia Online
It's just as bad, if not worse than, Graal. It's a game about NOTHING. I mean, at least that's what it says it is.. A "game". You have to be a total addict to it before you stop looking like a hobo style criminal... Wait, it has mini-games.. I suppose you can count THOSE as games.. Then again, the mini-games aren't worth playing. You get no actual gain out of them besides a few gold... Money.. Things... I don't really see why people are so fascinated with what is basically a Myspace rip for Emos, Goths, Anime nerds, Mangatics, and the mentally challenged youth. It's a sad, sad day whenever someone makes a good comment on Gaia.

5) Racists
Usually these are people who are racist out of the fact they feel like being racist. I've heard so many excuses from them too.. "omg my girlfrend was raped n killed!" Get over it. Lots of people get raped and killed by lots of different races. And the fact is, they can't support their own actions and usually get flamed on until they are forced to stop playing games altogether... Idiots..

6) Idiots. (See the fancy transition there? :3)
People who like to assume things about people, and believe their assumptions to be true. People who like to make up things so they can have a better alibi, and therefore win arguements through lies. People who are hypocritical towards people's interests and beliefs. I mean, if you can't get friends, don't blame it on people. It's your own damn fault for blaming it on people!

7) The Runescape Community

(New) 8) Shitty Fanfictions
How many of these are there? More, MUCH more, infinately more than the Nartuto/DBZ rips combined. I'm not complaining about the few good fanfictions, just the majority of them which are pure crap. The latest one I read was about "Harry Potter". Here's basically what happened, or what I could get to before my eyes started to bleed; The girl (The person who inserted herself into her own fanfiction) had a crush on Draco Malfoy, and thus, she turned Draco into an emo who enjoyed to cut himseld under a tree. That's going pretty far from the Harry Potter series itself, neh? Anyways, Draco asked her to go to a magical wizardy town thing, to listen to A BAND. One of those crappy punk bands, I think it was Greenday or some other band that those kinds of people think "rawx deyr sox". One; The band was a muggle band, and wouldn't be allowed to play there, let alone know about the place. Two; Draco wouldn't just randomly ask someone on a date, I mean he IS Draco Malfoy. Three; Draco would be too busy cutting himself or crying about how his emo life in this story sucks. So eventually it gets to the point where they start fucking eachother under that tree where he cut himself. In the open. Where everyone could see. That's just the latest one. I've read hundreds of crappy ones, and they all suck like this one. I guess this would tie in with #6 (Idiots). Oh yeah, the grammar and spelling in thse fanfictions rival that of RuneScape's community skills.
