Yutput, It really is immature of you to start insulting Terra and this game.... Okay, fine... it may have terrible quality in YOUR opinion...
Quality is irrelevant. 99.9% of games on BYOND are complete garbage anyway.
but from as far I can tell... it has more players than a lot of games right now...
Of course it has players. Its a Zeta rip "RP" listed on the front page. That pretty much guarantees it players in the pathetic community that is BYOND. Zeta rips have been the most played games on BYOND for like a decade now.
I understand where your coming from... but BYOND is ultimately community based and this game has players... enough to be on the "front freakin page"... so chill.
How many players you have has nothing to do with getting listed on the front page. The front page is supposed to be a list of "original" games, which this game is anything but. However, the "staff" around BYOND are about as competent as a blind umpire, so nothing ever gets done the way it should.
Someone should just go post about this on the "community" forums. Posting about it inside the game's forums isn't going to accomplish much.
I agree this game is terrible i also HATE HATE freaking rp games i get banned all the times is not my fault idk how to rp thats what i hate about them. but i should'nt be talking am planning to make one because am too lazy to make freaking monsters
What I'm really getting from this is that Yut Put is upset because Terra's game has more players than his game and he wants to talk about how poor it is. And I'm also getting that Falacy is one of Yut Put's jock riders trying to back him up in this situation.

It probably is irritating that some crap Zeta rip fangame is not only getting full listing status, but getting more players than his well made original game.
And I'm also getting that Falacy is one of Yut Put's jock riders trying to back him up in this situation.
Falacy is usually the driving force behind most positive and negative discussion, he certainly does not follow anyone else's tune lol.
Everyone knows the well made games on Byond very rarely get a big audience so i doubt Yut Put is upset about that either.
It's more to do with the game looking the way it does especially compared to the most well made games, and with it openly saying it's about Comics, it's more of a fan made creation based on something, So it doesn't quite look like it should be classified as original either.
I've played the game and although the interface, systems and some other things seem a little too familiar, i dare say it could be a coincidence so i won't deny this could have been programmed originally it still is based on an existing property's i presume?
While the game might be original in terms of programming, it uses generic RPG Maker graphics, it uses concepts from other source material (DC, Marvel, etc), it should be listed a fangame, if it were to be listed at all.
The game, honestly, looks incomplete to me.

That is my opinion as well, and i have changed it so.
It is incomplete. The game is basically in it's Beta or Pre-Beta stages. We've recently acquired a host and update things as we go along. And as we progress, since Terra is still learning how to code, the game will look significantly greater than it is now.
What Kindred said is semi-correct, but if any game is being updated it isn't complete, common sense right there.
If a game is popular, if people like it, it should be listed on the front page. Sure, I understand copy right infringement and such, but in the end, it should list it depending on players. It's been rather recent that they started cracking down on fan games. Used to be that every game on the front page was Naruto or DBZ or Bleach.
People play these games, and just because they aren't 100% original (Despite having many original ideas in them and being purely based on comics and altered to our own view) they are instantly hated.
Yut Put. You got banned, you broke the rules, get over it. If you break rules, you get banned, that's how all games go. So to show your anger you jump on here to flame it, and get it knocked down because you didn't have the intelligence to follow rules.
The other people hating on this game. Did you get banned or punished? Then there is the reason for hate.
Let's remember that most people don't start hating on games until after they broke the rules.
I do expect quite a bit of hate for my statements. I am well aware that this is the internet, on a website to play free 2D games. And that people shouldn't take things so seriously. It is quite sad.

Is it our fault that you don't know how to roleplay?
If a game is popular, if people like it, it should be listed on the front page.
That is not how it works, nor how it should work. You should not be further rewarded for stealing other people's creations.
Used to be that every game on the front page was Naruto or DBZ or Bleach.
This was an important fix, and though they didn't handle it as well as they could have, it is certainly far better than it has been for the last decade or so.

They are hated because they are rips. They are hated because they are "RP" games, which is essentially saying that they are not at all games, but just (sometimes) graphical chatrooms. They are hated because they are getting unfair listing status even though they break every listing guideline. I could go on, but you get the point?
Yut Put. You got banned, you broke the rules, get over it. If you break rules, you get banned, that's how all games go.
That is not how any legitimate games work, because legitimate games do not even have "rules", they have competently implemented limitations that prevent people from doing things they should not be doing.

Yes. It is your fault that your "game" doesn't teach people how to "play" it.

Our players and staff are both willing to teach people how to roleplay, so not knowing is not really an excuse, though when people come on and just randomly attacking even when the game says when you start that it's a roleplay game there is little you can expect of them.

If you don't want people randomly attacking each other, then make it so they can't randomly attack each other. Expecting people NOT to start attacking things when they play your "game", when attacking is exactly what you do in 99.9% of legitimate games, that is definitely your fault for having broken, unimplemented "rules".
Don't mind Falacy, he has a very intense view of how BYOND and every game on it should work, and believes all moderation should be done by software which tracks down rulebreakers.
I note there is a guide when you log in, which in turn leads you to a roleplay guide. That's neat, but perhaps consider some sort of dismissable or first-time-only browser window instead, to make it more obvious?
My experience with similar roleplaying games is, unfortunately, that the community get tired of new players who they don't think are 'as good' as they are, so they just say things like "It's an RP Game" or "Learn how to RP," but don't actually try to engage and teach them.

^ That is true if you don't like it take off the verbs and just put roleplay in is that simple or you can change the game and put it as a pvp which will be way better

When the "rule" in question is relating to PvP, it absolutely should be handled by "software". Banning people because your game is poorly designed and LETS THEM DO THINGS that you don't actually want them doing? Well, that's just as bad, if not worse than the BYOND moderation, which is probably where they're getting the idea that that type of broken, community attacking admining somehow acceptable in the first place.
