My name, who I am, where I come from, none of that is important. What I know, however, is. It all started with the war between the great shinobi villages, Leaf and Mist. The war was caused by a series of events that I am not aware of, but the results of which, I am very familiar with. Their personal war spread rapidly into a great world war that involved every hidden shinobi village. I lived in one of these villages. It was a lesser village that not many had heard of, but it had a few exceptional shinobi and a surpisingly large military. We waged war against Mist. We were defeated in a matter of days. Everything was stripped from us. Our homes, our pride, our way of life. We were forced into joining Mist's army to fight against Leaf. When the two massive armies of every ally of the two nations clashed, it was pure hell. Two years. Two full years this hellish slaughter that we were drawn into continued. Mist was losing. The majority of their captives had defected to join Leaf's cause because of the travesties we had witnessed. When it looked like Leaf's forces were finally overtaking Mist's, it happened. Mist's plans were revealed, to our horror. Every bijuu had been captured and released. They took no alliances, no prisoners, and had no mercy. They all ravaged the land and fought amognst each other for territory. They eventually killed each other off, and left the world a terrible, bloody mess. A few of the leaders of the shinobi nations had went into hiding and managed to survive. This is the world we live in. Rogues roam everywhere while the nations struggle rebuild themselves. There is no way to reverse the damage that has been done. All we can do now is take a side and fight. Fight to survive. Fight to expand. Fight to protect. Fight, to evolve.
