When using 'Topic View'/'All Messages' (the proper views for forums!), if you click a forum post from a category, it will take you to the last post in that topic. If I'm not mistaken, it used to take you to the first. What it should do, is take you to the first unread message. It already highlights them, so I assume the data is already known and processed.
