Redundant
Applies to:Flash Client
Status: Redundant

This feature has already been implemented, or is already achievable with existing methods.
It may have become necessary to make an official feature request for the Flash Client. It has been almost a year since you posted about an already working version of the Flash Client, and yet there has still been no public release. In fact, there has been almost no news about it at all, aside from the delusional ramblings of a few supposed insiders.

Vote this up if you want the Flash Client!
So, they've been working on it for a year, and still have what they had a year ago?
Since when does Flash only play MP3s? There even appears to be Flash Ogg players readily available, if for nothing other than research/examples.
The ogg player we were using in the Flash client had severe problems with using too much memory. Tom's been trying out something different. MP3 is something Flash handles natively, but licensing issues may prevent us from delivering the sound files from the server instead of as part of the main download package.
This one is redundant! It can be closed!
