When searching on the forums, or in the bug reports, searches find exact word matches only. Meaning, if you search for "exit" it won't find "exiting" or "MouseExited" etc.
advanced search -> message contains words
or
advanced search -> contains exact phrase

take your pick.

Then I was mistaken on the functionality of it, that is my bad. I'm not sure how something like this has gone overlooked.
Which is pretty good to filter out things if you're looking for something specific, so if they change it then they should keep an option to keep the old behavior.

Which is what the "contains exact phrase" option should do. As well as manually putting ""s around your search.

Having to put quotes around every single word in your query would be pretty annoying, though.

It explains why I always have such trouble finding old posts around here. Though I never actually noticed it until just now. And stop editing your posts after I read em =P and somehow they don't become marked as edited =o

Meh, I guess they could add a "Contains exact words" option. But it'll cost ya!
