Phew slowly grinding our way to day 33...Day 4/33. Greaaaaat.

Musician
Class Difficulty - High

The Musician Class is a mid range to far range class that focuses on mixing sound and energy to create concussive waves of music that create or have a certain effect on opponents and allies. Whether its damage or a boost. They are a very difficult class to master as they require notes to be played in sequence to activate a good percent if not all of their techniques. But none the less almost all of their attacks affect a large range of enemies and foes so they can handle their own against many enemies.

Brute - Guitar

The Brute Branch equips players with a Guitar, an instrument of power and force that allows players the ability to compresses and solidify the sounds strung from their strings and damage foes for amazing damage. Guitar Users are able to continuously mix together techniques and powers unlike any other class stringing notes from several attacks together to unleash stronger and better attacks than normal. These attacks upon contact with an opponent spread out across the area and deal splash damage to other surrounding enemies. The only feasible problem with guitar is the speed in which the player must correctly execute the notes of a skill to execute it. One wrong note and the skill fails.

Generic - Harp

The Generic Branch hands players a peaceful and harmonious device called a Harp. This instrument focuses on supporting allies and weakening opponents with buffs and debuffs. Able to increase various stats and abilities of fellow players and even decrease the power of other enemies is their given destiny. Similar to Guitar users Harpist have to play a string of notes to execute their techniques however the speed the notes have to be inputted is much slower than that of a Guitar allowing players of the harp to take their time when using skills and their techniques are all area of effect and handle multiple targets. However Harpist do not have many offensive techniques and those they do have are horrendously weak when not strung together.

Control - Violin

Traveling down the Control Branch gives the user a magical and wonderful instrument known as the Violin. Those who hold the Violin are masters of status inflicting techniques and hindering skills able to negate and nullify opponents with a simple string of notes. They can inflict even deadlier combinations of statuses on opponents by stringing their notes and skills together causing a deadly mix of effects. Violinist like the Guitar Players and Harpist have to play specific notes that change speed depending on the effect and playing the wrong note not only cancels the skill but could cause a positive effect to take place on an opponent. The speed of the Violin notes is the fastest out of the instruments and must be played precisely for the desired effects.

Hoping you enjoyed today's Class Session, I'll post another one tomorrow describing the Staffist class. [Although it may be delayed until our pixel artist can get his net working and sends me the Staffist icons. Although I might submit it without the icons D:]

No Flute?

Wind instruments are superior.

I was trying to keep a simple flow of strings with easy to access notes and flows. Plus a flute reminded me so much of Dynasty Warriors D:
Suit yourself. But if you ask me, overall your game could definitely use a bit more cow bell.

Indeed Cow Bells for the win. XD No comment on the idea behind Musicians?
How will "playing" the instruments work out? Is it like pressing keys on the keyboard or more Guitar Hero styled?
To make it simple its key and combination based. So one skill would be.

A-Z-Z-Z-A-Z-A-A-A-A-Z-Z-A [Just an example.] To execute it. A being the High Note and Z being the Low Note. You'd have to use the skill first then the pattern would appear and you would execute it. Each instrument has a different time you have to put the correct Combinations in.
That sounds difficult. You should make them do a lot of damage since they have to go through so much trouble to execute an attack. It balances everything out.

Like Guillotine from Pokemon - it was very hard to land but was incredibly strong when it did. If you give him low or even average damage output on top of tedious spell casting, not many people are going to want to play him. This should be the strongest character damage-wise in the game.

I did state the classes difficulty was hard. And all music techniques are AOE damaging multiple enemies, and the damage isnt low at all. Its moderately high.

Does that mean you're adding the cow bells then?
