About Dynamic Lighting in Dynamic Lighting
The lighting is always tile based even when movement is pixel based. The lighting should update when the mob's center moves to a different tile.
Any chance to update the icon generator to support isometric mode?
I was hoping to use this in MLAAS, but unfortunately MLAAS has several elements that rely on the built-in opacity system (such as blocking sight beyond walls). I don't think this library supports what I need at the moment. Guess I'll stick with Shadowdarke's ugly one.
pixel_x = -16 pixel_y = -16
// change this __x = opx __y = opy // to this: __x = opx - 0.5 __y = opy - 0.5
Another thing, how possible is it to change the light level of the entire game? I was looking over everything and didn't catch something that did this outside of small light sources.
There was once a season change and day/night engine that only updated the turfs visible to the player(plus extra on the sides). It turned out to be much, much faster than updating every turf in the world.
However, you can't do something like "teleport the player to 123,123,1 if that turf is lit" unless you update that turf beforehand. But that probably won't happen.
