Half-Life 2 in Off Topic

Its been out for a while but has anyone seen the half-life 2 gameplay movie on fileplanet.com? it was 600MB and the game just looks sexy as hell...what are other peoples opinions?

Very intuitive and interesting. I don't believe that it will be able to run on systems that the original can run on though, for heck's sake I crash sometimes when a highly detailed scene comes up during the video.

Yea and it uses the same SDK language as the first, which means, I can jump right into creating another mod for the community.

BTW: does anyone here model or skin? I use adobe photoshop/rhino render to shine up models.

Half-Life 2... :: drools :: ...I gotta get me a piece of that. ;-)

But seriously, Half-Life 2 looks... well... it's looks so good that I can't use words to explain it. The physics look marvelous, the graphics of HL2 makes real life look like the Commodore 64, and the face movement/eye movement is just undescribable. Hell, I'm bascially buying a whole new computer just to play it.

But I'll probably end up spending my $1500 computer money on 6000 boxes of cracker jacks.... then I SHALL BE KING CRACKAH JACK! I SHALL BE LORD IN MY OWN MIND!!!! MUHAHAHA!!....

I made a penguin model once for Half-Life... it didn't do anything... but it was a penguin.

It's 'Cracker Jack', but a good use of moeny none the less :)
