I've gotten into skinning my GUI a lot lately. I've found lots of cool programs, but a really neat one I found is called Windowblinds. Windowblinds skins your window and taskbar GUI much like an msstyle does.
I've noticed for awhile that Windowblinds had a bit of an issue with Dream Maker. There are two sliders that can move to change the size of different areas in the Dream Maker program, one vertical and one horizontal. What always struck me as odd is that it looked like there was almost another window under where the slider is. I'm starting to think something like that is actually the case.
I've taken two screenshots. The first one is of Dream Maker while I'm using a pre-installed Windowblinds skin called Sabertooth:
What I did before taking this screenshot is I moved the sliders. Moving them seems to, instead of making one side larger than the other, bring out this "window" underneath it. Also making the window vertically larger seemed to enhanced the problem greatly. You may be thinking now, "This is probably just a Windowblinds problem." But I've found otherwise. I also tried it with the Windows XP Luna msstyle:
Although not as drastic, the problem still occurs here, especially when I increase the vertical length again. Increasing the vertical length is what brings out the multiple "title bars" you see at the bottom, while normally it's only one like in the vertical slider. You only see a tiny bit of the Luna window title bar under there, but it's definitely there.
I can't really say what the problem is, but I'm speculating that it is indeed a BYOND problem. I would suggest looking at whatever that slider you're using there is. I never thought it really looked like a slider. The sliders that are put between childs in BYOND games work just fine.
When does this problem occur?:
It occurs every time no matter what I seem to use.
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked?
Not that I can be sure of.
