GamingDomain Commercial Challenge

I've gotten an idea from my Design Class. The main idea is to create a game cover that would represent you as a gamer. By you as a gamer I mean your favorite genre, gaming era, etc. There is not a lot of specifics on this contest the colors are unlimited and there is no size. Your icon has to look as if it would be in Gameshop. Realistic and Creativity is the main idea of this contest. Make sure you have a back and front of your game as follows;

FRONT
The front will be your game cover and what'll be the eye catcher of the contest such as if you were to really buy a game. It must represent you as a gamer (once again) and have aspects of your favorites.

BACK
This will be the hard part of the contest, you must create a back, including the Rating (T, M, E, etc.). It must also include a description of the game/summary of the game and probably some made up quotes. The back could also include some made up Professional-looking organization icon.

How Judged
It'll be judged by you the BYOND Art Society by a vote, which I will somehow try to get Frontpaged if it isnt a problem with BAS. The winner will be rewarded a membership/$18 by us@GamingDomain.

Due Date
The due date for all entries are March 31, 2010 giving you enough time for critism and brainstorming. Any entries submitted after the due date will be ignored and/or deleted. The due date is final and won't be extended.

Er Inactivity

Yeah, well since the last tournament the activity level of this guild has gone down the drains. I've decided upon myself to make this a real blog about games and host (pre-arranged, weekend, occasional) tournaments, just to get some more fans and activity.

If this goes well then I might renew this membership if it fails I'll definitely let our last days as members go away and abandon this membership. Let's get it going! Again!

Tournament Post-Poned

The tournament has been post-poned since there was a recent death inside my family. I'll have to go to NY for awhile but when I get back I'll have the tournament and talk to the owner of the winning game.

Gaming Tournament

We all know that it's going to be a Gaming Tournament! But one question...What GAME?

How It Works
Well, you will choose this time which games are nominated and you'll vote also. I know plnety of game will be nominated but i'll take the Top 3 only. Then i'll talk to the owner to have something arranged.

That's it but i'll keep you updated on any changes within the tournament. Also, we might need a couple of Event Organizers along with me (just a little help I guess).

Statements
I know a lot of people (A LOT) were disappointed with our opening tournament, so I want to make it up. Don't worry If it is based on gaming I have a list of games, concept, a host, and a convenient time (as requested by D4RK).

What You Need To Do?
I need you to vote on what type of tournament will it be. Either Pixel Art of Gaming? Once again it isn't going to be like The Efencea tournament (Unconvenient/Unorganized). We have it all planned out and everything. We may need a couple of things but not at the moment.

When?
September 4th (Friday,Next Month)

Also
I'm going to open the forums for now, but not for requesting quite yet since I don't want request at the moment. The forum will be open for comments, ideas, and maybe applacations (For GD).

Efencea Champion 2009

Well, today we crowned our Efencea Champion. I really didn't want to crown a champion like this but, the other participant was missing in action. I had already told him that the tournament was today and gave him a complete 2 Hours to come. Well anyways if you want to see the winner click Here!

Well, after we finish a CSS I''ll open the forums so we can start doing request for Pixel Art and all that good stuff. Also, the next tournament will be much more organized since this one was low in organized fun. The next tournament will be based on Pixel Art Skills by the way. Leave critism, thoughts, and everything else here!

Also, leave thanks to Tayoko and Verm for letting us borrow the new version of Efencea for the tournament! The game was fun Verm and Tayoko thanks, again!!!

Finale Twist

Well, it's come down to two determined people. They have fought there way through hundreds of towers to make it to the Finale. But with a Twist? Instead of having a One Round winner takes all type of championship we've decided to do a 3 Rounds Of Hell match-up. It is pretty self-explanatory but it is when you have 3 rounds of Efencea when the effectiveness is lowered. That means that it could take months even hours to complete this match. The factions are choosen randomly which mean you can't use the faction you're best with. The winner will be deteremined when all three rounds are over and one player has 2/3 wins. I will probably give the runner-up a consolation prize. Well, if you want to know how the tournament went see the brackets below.
