Worst Advertisement Ever in Off Topic

Left my computer for a while, came back and this is what I found on my BYOND pager.

<--(6:35 pm) Hir0shi: Come Join we just wiped!! Pokemon Station
(MASS PAGE) [Join]

Turned out to be some Pokemon Stadium game. Anyways, this is the most horrible advertisement for a game I've seen in a while.

Why would someone send me a page saying that they basically just took everything everyone that played that game worked for away from them? Why would you even say that trying to get people to play your game? It's like saying "Hey, come play our game! We like to f$%^ you over every month or so!".

Noobs need some college.

Man, player wipes. I... can't believe those are even still a thing. Though I guess I only play NEStalgia anymore really and they have a system in place that lets them retroactively update savefiles without just wiping everyone's characters every other week.
