Though I'm probably doing more game design and coding now then I've ever done in one stretch, I'm about to see how far my time can really stretch.

I've registered for 14 credits of classes starting Monday of next week. This won't necessarily ruin my chances of finishing a game. On the contrary, I intend to trap myself on campus with nothing but homework, a laptop, and BYOND to wile away the hours.

To commend my overwhelming ambition, a screenshot of the current state of the game (at least the part in the map window).

What you see here is pathfinding debug mode, with a whole lot of extra clutter. Red targets denote closed nodes, green targets denote open nodes. Three paths are currently being displayed with a black on white mesh. Fields of up arrows indicate sources, fields of down arrows indicate destinations.

That said, I've left a few mysteries as a game in itself. Can you identify the tiles? The individual workers and what they're doing? How about that blue ship? The reward being these answers themselves: hints as to how this game will play before it's been released.
Looks chaotic and fun. I love watching automation.

You're in luck: if there's one thing this game will have in spades, it's automation.
