Just wondering if I got ripped off, bought an
external hardrive 0.5 Tb for 150$. is that a
good/bad deal? reply in the comments.

I was looking at external drives at Best Buy a few weeks back, and found a 2TB HDD for $250 CAD.

Did you buy an HDD or an SSD?

Haha, I couldn't fill half a TB up with crap if I wanted to unless I downloaded hundreds of hours of HD porn all day.

I got a 500 GB portable for around 80 dollars.. You got ripped off, badly.

For now on, order your tech stuff off of newegg.com and avoid retail or buying from other people.

$150 = £110 or something like that, I bought a 2tb plug and play external for £70 from ebuyer the other month so yeah.....you got ripped

Well, I was going to point out that you got ripped off, but.. someone did.
I have a 320 in one computer, 40 in the other, and ~1.5tb in the third.
