Its been a while since I've given you guys a update on Bleach: Afterlife. So far, the game is getting into shape and I've managed to get Abhinav back on the project. I've thought about including a Zanpakuto customization system with customizable hilt colors, blade lengths, and Bankai names. I've also though about making unlockable Zanpakuto parts like various colors for the hilts and lengths for the blades unlocked when you reach a certain goal instead of just giving you everything right off the bat.(I'll need feedback for that.)I've also begun including some of the tracks from the Bleach OST.(Another thing I'll need feedback on.) Anyway here are some screenshots of BAL:

So far Bleach: Afterlife has no where near the amount of pixel art that I need to complete it. The whole team hasn't responded in months and I've been keeping a steady pace with the programming. So far all the shikais and bankais are programmed in as well as some minor bug fixes. The alpha testers are truly doing their job well. All that we really need are pixel artists willing to help with the project.

So I'm sitting at my comp watching some old Naruto episodes when I get this on my pager:

When I asked who the hell he is.. there is no response. Even though its obviously a virus, I still humored myself and took a look at the Rar. Inside the rar file there is:

Ahh yes the virus and the readme.So I clicked the wonderful readme and heres what was inside it:

This is normally where the sensible people would stop but not me. I went and clicked the stupid EXE without extracting it(for obvious reasons) and nothing pops up as expected. So I went into my wonderful task manager and saw that the program is running in the "background".

It is at that point I end the process and scan my computer for viruses. Next time...if your going to send someone a virus, make sure its not so obvious.

I am giving our "fans" an update about Bleach:After Life, here's whats going into the game.

Passive based fighting(Kudos/Credits to Naruto Final Fight for inspiring the idea)

Ah yes..the Passive based fighting. The one thing that has stirred up much confusion. First off...even though the passives will be on a skill tree. The "skill tree" is just there for organization. For those who don't understand what that means. It doesn't work like a skill tree, its just there because its more pleasing to the eye.

The passives work like this(and for those who have played NFF its pretty much the same), you use your attacks or what ever the passive entails and raise it. Easy to understand right? Pretty much like mastering your shikai on any other bleach game.

I'm considering having mode in which you fight battles from the manga(no not the anime...anime would include fillers and we know how bad those are) With this mode, I'm considering having "friendly" NPCs to help you out like Renji or Rukia.

Anyway...so far Ive completed Ichigo, Ikkaku, and Kira's shikais and the shikai obtainment(forgive me if thats not a word) system as well as a few skill cards and the basic programming of them. Since Heyya46 has nearly all the icons done already for his version of BAL (stat distribution game), expect this game to finish sooner than what that lazy guy did (though he can't program.) :)

So I've been thinking lately and Ive finally decided to make a completely original game. This game is somewhat inspired by NEStalgia.(INSPIRED not rip) Unfortunately.. I cannot do the pixel art for the game and am in need of a pixel artist.

Requirements:

1. You must be able make NES-Style Graphics( This is where the inspired part comes in)

2. Have some experience.

3. Be committed.(Don't have me wait like 2 weeks for you to come online.)

Ahh yes......my 19th b-day is today....And my membership has 48 days left...if anyone who can spare a free membership extension then that would be gratefully appreciated. Oh yea...also to those who have waited for years on Code Geass, Im planning to continue it after I finish with Abhinav's game.(or not depending on weither or not he helps me with Code Geass) Anyway.....YAY B-DAY!!!!

After a freaking 2 year hiatus.... BAL is back. Abhinav(Heyya46) and me have begun working on the game once again. Currently the development is going without a hitch.

And an announcement: BAL will be going under closed alpha testing tomorrow, so closed testers and staff members, do look out for it.
