I know there are a bunch of Guitar Hero players out here. I KNOW there are. Now, what are your best accomplishments so far?

Me, I've 5 starred the first 6 lists on Expert, 5 starred Freebird, gotten two 100 percents. I do say that's pretty good. How's everyone else doin'?
5 stars on every song on Medium....but I don't even have the game lol. I just borrowed it from a friend for a few days.

I say that for a game like Guitar Hero 2, ONE person should buy the game and guitar and share it with the world so nobody else has to pay like what, $90 for it? Honestly, paying a lot of extra money just to play a game ON TOP of the actual game price is just silly.

1: TV.
2: Outlets.
3: Electricity for the outlets.
4: Possibly one of those multi-outlet things.
5: Console.
6: Game.
7: Guitar.
8: Extra Guitars for multiplay.
9: Controllers so the console will be worth something other than one game.

Now, I don't own a 360, so getting numbers 6-9 is completely pointless! And thus going over someone's house and playing theirs is just so much cheaper eh?
My friend's brother beat everything on Expert.

His latest feat is to face the wall while playing and just play by ear...

He's nuts.

You could play it on PS2 lol. But yeah, you have a good point, it is quite an expense.
I still haven't beat the game on expert - I'm about three quarters of the way through. I have a very hard time 5-starring anything on expert. It takes a lot of practice! My little brother finished the game on expert the other day, and I spent all of last night trying to beat him in competitive mode -- after spending a few months practicing while I was in Europe, he is undeniably a little bit better than me now. Usually about 1%-5% better.

All in all, it's a fun game and I enjoy it similarly to Dance Dance Revolution. However, it's sort of an odd child: it's stuck between practicing playing my real guitar, and getting real exercise playing DDR!

This reminds me....games that require you to get 100% of everything in the game to actually BEAT the game really suck. Take the game(s) Metroid, sure you don't need 100% to beat the game but imagine if you did. That'd suck, because getting 100% is just not satisfying if you don't want to. There's games out there like that...and I hate em.

I should at least play GH2 before mocking it but uh...hey, I'm that kind of guy. On that I also have to say it really is also annoying when games encourage you to play through it again, especially when you had to go through a lot to beat it the first time.

Yes, that is how you play the game AND do the dance.
