I decided to abandon my Castlevania project. It was a waste of my valuable time to start production of a game with so many restrictions and boundries.
My seemingly limitless imagination went beyond (get it? :] ) the capacity of the Castlevania concpet. If I implemented my ideas the plot would be unlike that of the SNES's classic Castlevania. If I excluded my ideas then the game would be monotonous and dreary.
Maybe Castlevania just wasn't meant for BYOND? That would explain the many deserted attempts at creating a Castlevania game in the unpublished section.
I don't plan to just let time pass by, though. I will keep myself busy by mastering my skills with the DM language and with pixel art and hopefully begin production of a game in which I can successfully put all my ideas into without it being overdone or not enough done at all.
I believe that a game is not as appeasing when a player doesn't have exactly what they want in it. Feel free to give me your all-too-appreciated ideas and opinions concerning my future creation.
