Final Fantasy XII... Anyone?

Bought Final Fantasy XII (While at a friends house) last week and I'm just now getting to play it. So far... It's actually pretty fun for me. More fun than I thought. I played the demo that came with Soul Calibur III and I wasn't too impressed but the actual finished game is really addictive (Although it is a little harder than I thought as, after I beat the "Rouge Tomato" I got my ass handed to me by a Wolf and two of those.... Turkey things, and got me my first Game Over.).

The game seems a lot like Final Fantasy XI in some ways (For those who have played it). But, other than that, is a lot more addictive then previously thought.

Anyway, what do you guys think of this game? I'm just a little curious since Final Fantasy XII DID take out the random battles system that the majority of Final Fantasy games have in them. To this day, Final Fantasy VII is still my favorite Final Fantasy of all time but I want to know what you guys think of this game and which Final Fantasy is YOUR favorite?

Back from Gatlinburg.

Although I never posted I was leaving, I'm back from Gatlinburg. KirbyAllStar and I had fun there. It's a lot harder to Snowboard than I thought it would be but it was still fun. The Hotel rooms were nice and not nasty like a lot are and the Ripley's Haunted Adventure was fun as hell. I recommend it to ANYONE who ever visits Gatlinburg in Tennessee to go to that place.

I bought a Great Sword at a weapons store called the "China Bazaar" while I was there. Kirby and I are going to take pictures of it (and his weapons, the Skull Dagger and Fire Axe) and post it here on our page to show you it. It's called the Barbarian's Sword. It's huge, it's heavy, it has a hidden Dagger, and I love it.

Also, for you Final Fantasy VII fans out there (Like I am), the ACTUAL Buster Sword that Cloud Strife uses was there. I do not kid. There were two of them left and I would have KILLED for it. They were $150 each and Kirby took pictures of them. I'm in one of the pictures so you'll be able to see me soon. It is a huge bladed, 20 pound sword. SOMEDAY IT WILL BE MINE! I can only hope...

Well, I'll have the pictures posted here soon. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too Mjam. I'll see you guys later.

Merry Christmas!

I don't mean to post so close after that previous one I just made but I just HAVE to say this.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's just that time of year where everyone is in a happy mood (At least, I hope everyone is) and are spreading the joy of Christmas Spirit on to their family, friends, and even strangers.

I hope everyone is having a good time so far. My prayers are out to everyone and especially to the people who may be grieving at this time of year (I know of one. A friend of mine had a close friend of his just die yesterday in a car crash while on his way to Church to be in a Christmas Play. It's tragic.) and a safe travels to everyone of you.

Gaming Asylum Productions

I posted this on our forum. The same forum that used to be the Freeze Tag HideAway forum but now the Gaming Asylum Forum.

Gaming Asylum is a team formed by both KirbyAllStar and myself to create numerous games for the players of BYOND. Our most famous and only game we have right now is Freeze Tag HideAway. That game is what keeps us here at BYOND. I really don't know when we are going to start working on our untitled RPG here at BYOND but I suppose it will be after all the hustle and bustle of the Holidays (Plus my birthday this January 1st. I'll be 19. Old eh?). I'm the Iconer/Mapper of Gaming Asylum Productions and KirbyAllStar is the Coder/Mapper. Someday, we're going to need a Graphics Artist. I've told Kirby that having one of those type of people would look extremely good, visually, to the advertisements of our games. Don't know when we're going to actually recruit one though... It will probaly be posted in the Developer Forums once we sit down and start working on our RPG.

Anyway, I'm through posting for now. Keep an eye out for games made by Gaming Asylum Productions. Even though that name is new around BYOND, the people that formed that team sure have been around this place for a couple of years now.

Finally got my BYOND Membership...

Just got my BYOND Membership as of yesterday as a Christmas gift from KirbyAllStar. I've been a part of BYOND since the "Old" days (This key is much newer than my first ever BYOND key) and I can really see how much BYOND has grown since then. After so many years with being a part of BYOND, I finally am a part of a team working on our very own game here. You guys know it as Freeze Tag HideAway.

I just have to say that I'm glad to be a part of the BYOND community for so long and I hope to keep being one in future times. Even if I am working on bigger stuff.
