i did read a guide and still some of the stuff confused me so can you help me or tell me the name of someone that can? If not its ok ill be able to figure it out on my own. Also quick quesion is the only way for a game to be live is by it being hosted or does byond have a server of some sort that can host it?

Read the DM guide and look at various libraries and demo's. That will teach you how to program.

hey howey ummm can you help me with something? I was thinking og learning toprogram and in trying to create a .Hack game similar to dirge and i need a couple of pointers. Also I know it wont be great and many people wouldnt play but its just a practice run so i can try to get it right later so if your on dirge when the server is up or no someone that can help me I would appreciate it greatly. :)

Dirge isn't dieing, and if it did, it would be given to the owner who wanted to update it, and if no one wanted to it would be deleted.
