This issue has been resolved.
I'd like hell to get as hard as castle toward the end game. That means that eventually tier2 giant demons would spawn as "hard" enemies, and tier1 giant demons would spawn in place of imps. Or maybe vampires instead of tier1 demons.

Not sure what you mean by this, but if you're making the game harder than before then can you reset the scoreboard? It would be somewhat unfair to the newgen soloers.
The waves are harder, but the score for completing those waves is also higher. Score is based on individual enemies, so adding harder enemies means the score is harder. That sounds balanced enough to me.
