            <description>So what exactly is this Feval 2.0 Beta, you might ask? Basically it's a massive Feval update with loads of new features and upgrades.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
This post will explain some of what has already been done, including screenshots, and also give a little sneak peek of things to come.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Levels&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
So let's jump right in. Feval now has levels. You don't necessarily get stronger as you level like most games, but you do progress and unlock new things, such as items, which we'll go into more later. The current level cap is 20. Experience is currently gained from getting kills and playing games (more for winning). It is possible earning medals will also give experience in the near future.&lt;br&gt;

Feval has had a few usable items for awhile now, but the item system has been completely redesigned and new items have been added (with many many more to come). Each player can pick two items they wish to use and then during matches that allow items, they can use them when they are not on cooldown. Each item has its own cooldown and can only be used when it is not on cooldown. As you level up, you unlock the ability to use certain items.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Below is a screenshot of the Items tab inside the Profile. This is where players can pick what two items they wish to activate and use.&lt;br&gt;

Feval used to use an achievement system with tiers of statistical challenges to beat to unlock new overlays and such. Well, the game now only has medals (with many more to come), statistical information just for viewing pleasure, and overlays are unlocked with acorns via the shop (explained more below).&lt;br&gt;

&lt;b&gt;Shop&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Feval now has an ingame shop. Currently the only thing purchasable is overlays, but eventually other things will be available for purchase. Special acorns collected from playing games are no longer used for score and are now used as the Feval currency. An extra special currency that can be purchased with real money and can be used to purchase certain things is planned, but not yet implemented. The shop will be a very important part of Feval in the future.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;b&gt;Lobby&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
The first part of Feval's new lobby system has been implemented. Currently players can create custom games and join custom games. Players can pick from some premade maps, pick the versus type (free for all or team), and pick the mode (currently only Normal and Deathmatch). Premium members can pick Custom and make their own maps (which will be getting a lot of new features very soon).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In the near future, Feval will have an automated &quot;quick play&quot; matchmaking system and the lobby system will of course be updated appropriately. Quick play will basically match players up against players around their skill level. Players will be able to decide the types of games and modes they wish to play as well.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Also in the future, Feval will be getting &quot;mission games&quot; that they can play with their friends. Mission games will basically be co-op vs AI games with objectives. More information will be released on them in the future.&lt;br&gt;

Feval has also been upgraded in different areas. Cosmetic improvements, system efficiency improvements, and much more. And there is a lot more to come.&lt;br&gt;

So what else is coming that hasn't already been mentioned? Let's condense it all. Clans, friends list, seamless cross server play, groups and group play, new characters with different forms of combat, improved powerup system with many new powerups, scripted map editor (make almost anything you want - minigames), and much much more.&lt;br&gt;

Majority of the work done since the last Teridal Log post has been internal system changes. Almost every old system from Seika has been redesigned and countless new systems have been added.&lt;br&gt;

One of the newest features added into the game are achievements. Achievements are brand new, so they are currently only for something to do, but soon players will be able to purchase fun items if they have the required amount of achievement points. There are currently only about 80 achievements in the game, but hundreds more are soon to follow.&lt;br&gt;

On the content side, new caves, new monsters, a new castle, four new bosses, and countless new icons and items have been added into the game.&lt;br&gt;

So much has changed that just logging in and seeing would be faster than reading about it all, so this post will focus more on what is to come.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;b&gt;What's To Come&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Classes were put off for a bit due to the game needing a lot more work to make way for them, but they are coming very soon.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Below is a list of some of the upcoming features in the near future.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Skill For Hire&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Skill for hire will allow players to give the required craft materials to an NPC along with a small payment. Players with the proper skill will then be able to search the list and volunteer to craft the item for the payment in return.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Looking To Buy&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Added to the auction house, a way for players to list an item they wish to buy along with the price they wish to pay. Other players will then be able take the payment in exchange for the items.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Alert Interfaces&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
All alerts, inputs, and other menus will be redesigned with custom interfaces to better fit into the game.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Instanced Boss Rooms&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Teridal will feature full instanced dungeons in the future, but for now, every boss room will be instanced (aside from PvP castles) to allow multiple parties to fight the same boss at the same time and to better control the fights.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Classes&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
As mentioned in the previous Teridal Log post, classes are coming to Teridal. There will be 10 classes with 3 specifications each. &lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;PvP Content&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Teridal is mostly a PvE game and most other games around BYOND are PvP based, so in order to spark some interest for those players, Teridal will be getting massive PvP content updates. Objective PvP battles will be added along with arenas for players to fight it out for battle points and even experience for people who wish to level via PvP. Hundreds of new rewards for PvP will be added.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;More Interfaces&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Interfaces will continue to be added and improved upon.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;b&gt;Still To Come Later On&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Teridal will be getting a complete overhaul of the graphics and maps. The new world map will be massive and the players will be brought into a true massive adventure world. Most of the graphics will be redone and tons of new content will be added.&lt;br&gt;

Along with the overhaul, Teridal will be given quests and instances and other major features to give the game a true online RPG feel.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

            <description>As Teridal continues to be updated, these posts will go into great detail about recently added features and content, under development content, and content on its way in the near and far future.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;b&gt;What's New&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Aside from the countless new features, and systems, and interfaces, and graphics, and everything else, a few of the most recent updates stick out the most.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The random gear system. Teridal now features a system that will generate random gear at runtime for all levels. What this means is, there will be no lack of decent quality gear to go around. The power of such a system is it saves countless hours of manually adding gear, bringing in thousands of new pieces of gear into the game. Of course, crafted gear and other already implemented gear has been buffed to keep the tradeskills superior. The system is pretty self explanatory, but this system has changed the game massively (especially for leveling up) and has reduced some of the cons of playing Teridal.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Another huge thing that has been being worked on for a bit now is a new dungeon with five of six bosses already implemented. Only the strongest players will survive in such a place. As the players progress through the dungeon with the help of a friendly NPC, they will encounter a creature known as the &quot;Shadowy Figure&quot; around every corner. His interactions and the interactions of the friendly NPC will help lay out the story behind the Rotting Caverns. Below is a breakdown of all the bosses with screenshots.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Gorik. Gorik is the &quot;guard dog&quot; of these caverns. As the Gorik fight goes on, Gorik will pound the ground and rocks will fall from the ceiling. Any player unfortunate enough to be under the rock when it lands will be trapped and their friends will have to break the rock in order to free them. The party will be required to slay this beast within a certain amount of time or keep the falling rocks at bay (they get faster as the fight progresses) otherwise the room will fill up and they will be doomed. Gorik has different abilities that will required the group of players to carefully position themselves. Once players have done enough damage to Gorik an event will occur and Gorik will break the floor in which Gorik and the party of players will fall deeper into the caverns. The friendly NPC will intervene to save the party, but Gorik will fall to his death.&lt;br&gt;

Slimmus. Deeper inside the caverns, players will learn about the experiments and diseases being crafted by the Shadowy Figure and his goons. The boss known as Slimmus will give the adventurers a true test of power. Remaining in place, Slimmus shoots slime, creates slime rain, and slimes players in place randomly. Slimes will spawn from him and will have to be killed before they multiply. Every now and then Slimmus will gather power, in which slimes will come from the walls and head towards Slimmus. Some of the players will have to turn themselves into a slime and enter Slimmus to defeat the growing power inside him while the rest of the party keep the other slimes from reaching Slimmus. Once Slimmus is defeated, Eran (the friendly NPC) will appear and tell the players about how the Shadowy Figure has taken over an old underground Vikaad base close by and is using it as his place of operation. He will create a gateway that players can use to get inside the base.&lt;br&gt;

After getting into the base, the players will find themselves in an old portal room in which they can get to any of the three remaining bosses. Each portal to each boss is guarded by mini-bosses that the players must slay to proceed further.&lt;br&gt;

Enwyrm. Enwyrm will test the party's ability to manage their resources and keep themselves alive. Enwyrm will drain the players' magic and spawn adds that will return the magic if killed, but will heal him and hurt the players and must be killed at the right times. Every so often he will spawn pools that will either restore magic or restore full health and take all magic.&lt;br&gt;

Arkron. Arkron has many special abilities that he uses depending on the power mode he is in. Players will have to learn what they must do for each of his phases. During the fire phase, players are required to stand together, take fireball hits, and kill adds as they randomly spawn. Frost patches will spawn on the ground (faster as the phase continues) in which the players will have to walk over to acquire a debuff to reduce the damage they take from the fire abilities. After a little while Arkron will change into the frost phase in which players will have to walk on the fires to get the debuff and spread out. He will trap random players in ice tombs and the other players will have to kill the tombs to get their friends out. During the arcane phase, arcane bombs will spawn on the players and they will have to move away from them before they blow up. If they get hit, they will take decent damage and be silenced for a bit.&lt;br&gt;

Teridal will be introducing classes with a completely new ability and spell system soon. Players will be allowed to choose between up to 10 different classes, all with two or three subclasses, and each subclass having different paths the players can choose from to select the type of way they wish to play the class. such a system will redefine Teridal and give it new life. Classes are coming very soon, so stay tuned.&lt;br&gt;

To go with the classes, Teridal will be getting a complete face-lift of PvP content. The game will allow players to compete with each other in PvP events for much better rewards using many additional features. More on this soon.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;br&gt;
Teridal will be getting a complete overhaul of the graphics and maps. The new world map will be massive and the players will be brought into a true massive adventure world. Most of the graphics will be redone and tons of new content will be added.&lt;br&gt;

Along with the overhaul, Teridal will be given quests and instances and other major features to give the game a true online RPG feel.&lt;br&gt;

            <description>Teridal is currently undergoing massive changes and revisions. These posts will help you keep track of what is happening and what is to come.&lt;br&gt;

Two of the biggest and most recent changes to hit Teridal are integrated MySQL and Teridal Accounts.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Teridal now uses MySQL to store and retrieve database information. Currently this is limited to server and player info, but eventually the entire game will work off of it. What this does, is it allows the game to quickly modify and retrieve information about players and servers. It also allows for the introduction of Teridal accounts, which are detailed more below.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
With MySQL, Teridal now lets players play on any server with their characters. Some data is still restricted to individual servers, but the characters themselves can be loaded and played on any officially hosted server.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Players can now create Teridal accounts. Teridal accounts now act as the main account system for Teridal, but players are still allowed to easily login with just using BYOND. Characters made on any BYOND key can be linked to a Teridal account and the player can then login to the Teridal account to play any of those characters. Teridal accounts also let you join and play the game without running BYOND or even making a BYOND key. In the near future Teridal will have a custom installer that will install the game and the BYOND framework and the game can be run from your desktop with the click of a button! Teridal accounts will also be required to login to &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.teridal.com/&quot;&gt;the website&lt;/a&gt;, manage characters and other account information, use the forums, use the marketplace, and more. The game will be completely linked to the website and data will flow between the two with ease.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
To make sure there isn't confusion between the two different types of account systems, the game uses a bit of smarts to help the user get in and play.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If the player has the BYOND pager already running with a BYOND key logged in when they login to Teridal, it disables Teridal account controls and allows the player to just click login to get started. If they do this, they will be restricted to playing only characters created while logged in this way, but they can move a character to a Teridal account at any time.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If the player is logged into BYOND as a guest or not running the pager at all, the game will assume they don't have BYOND or a BYOND key (or just don't want to run it) and it will enable and allow the person to login or register a Teridal account.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Of course, once the player connects, they can easily switch between which account system they want to use.&lt;br&gt;
